HM: okay then... M chaliye hum aapko drop kar dete hai Ghar...
M: okay MS, thank you.
Everyone greets MS and KM and they leave thana. In HM's jeep there is pin drop silence as HM knows that M is tensed and angry with her for she did not inform her before and took so many decisions and M is lost in her thoughts. Then they reach home and HM was about to say something when M interrupted.
M: hum fresh hoke aate hai...
HM: parr...
M ignores HM and leaves without making any eye contact because she knows that if she does that, her tears won't stop.
HM's pov: areh aap hi toh chahti thi na ki hum sabko humare rishte ka sach bata dete hai... Aur us din toh kitna naraz bhi ho gyi thi aap...
Flashback
M (while pricking her index finger on HM's cheek): diduuuu... Suno naa
HM: hmm... Kya kar rhi hai ye aap...
M: diduuuu
HM: kya chahiye nautanki...
M: aaj kitna mazza aaya na... Maine aapne aur Karu di ne jab saath mein icecream khaayi field duty ke baad...
HM: hmm....
M: aapko bhi mazza aaya na?
HM: aap khush ho?
M: bohottttt....
HM (cupped M's face): toh meri Mahi ke khushi se hi toh meri khushi ho jaati hai na bache...
M: aur fir Karu di bhi toh thii (hitting her shoulder with HM's shoulder teasingly)
HM: ahaa... Mat kariye aise... Hum kaam kar rhe hai na...
M: huh... Gandi... Jao... Kaam karti raho...
M turns her face showing fake anger
HM: acha sorryy Naa... Aajao... Nahi karte kaam...
HM closes her laptop and pulls M near her and M rests her head on HM's shoulder.
HM: sorryy mera bacha... Batao na aap kya bol rhi thi...
M: sachii bolu?
HM: haa baba... Bolo na... Aapko pata hai na ki aap didi se kuch bhi share kar sakte ho...
M: hmm...
HM: toh bolo...
M: vo merko na.... (Closes her eye and says in one go) Vo merko na Karu di chahiye...
HM (with a jerk): kya?
M: mera matlab ki... Baakiyo ko na sahi... Hum Karu di ko apni sachai bata dete hai na...
HM: aur usse kya hoga?
M: hoga ye... Ki Karu di apni academy ki bestfriend HM ki behen Mahi se mil legi... Aur main bhi apni behen ki bestfriend se mil lungi...
HM: nahi, koi zarurat nahi hai...
M: kyuu... Pls na diii🥺
HM: nahii, kaha na ekbaar...
M: diii... Fir humara bond acha ho jayega na
HM: aapka bond kaafi acha hai unke sath... Bahane mat banaiye... Kya bakwas karti rehti hai aap...
(Again opens her laptop and starts working)
M: diii... Pls na...
HM: bekar ki zidd mat karo Mahi... Mana kiya na ekbaar humne... Jao apni books leke aao... Dikhao hume aaj kya padha, kitna padha...
M: dii yaar... Main koi aur baat kar rhi thi...
HM: vo koi baat hi nahi hai... Humne ekbaar mana kar diya na... Baat khatam...
M: Parr ..
HM: no more arguments!!

M (shouted with tears in her eyes): hume aapse koi baat hi nahi karni! Sirf padhai padhai!
Saying this she ran from the room wiping her tears and went to her room and jumped on her bed, clutched the pillow tightly with her face almost inside it.
HM (to herself): ya allah... Ye kya kiya humne... Apni chotti si bachi ko itna daat diya jabki uski aaj utni galti bhi nahi thi... Pyaar se bhi samjha sakte the na aaj hum use... Kya karti hai Haseena... Case ka stress aur tension M pe nikal diya... vo bhi toh kitna kuch manage kar rahi hai na... uff... Chalo beta, ab lago kaam pe... Ab manao maharani ko... Uffooo....
