Now Mannat noticed the glare and was scared
M (fumbling): s... Sorry aa... Umm.. maddamsir
HM: Mannat idhar aaiye
Haseena was standing near Pushpa ji's desk and her cabin
Mannat did not follow, she just bowed her head
KS: Hasu... (received a glare from HM) um... Humara matlab hai, Maddamsir, rehne dijiye na , vaise bhi humko bura nahi laga, hume toh aadat hai... Ye dono toh masti karte rehte hai
HM (sternly): har samay nahi, aur aap (to M), aapko idhar bulaya na humne
Haseena called her again
SS: Maddamsir rehne do na
Santosh tried requesting but Haseena glared at her and she also kept quiet then
HM: Mannat
Haseena warned again
Mannat just stepped forward and went and stood infront of Haseena, not wanting to increase the anger
Haseena lifted Mannat's face by keeping 2 fingers under her chin and made her make an eye contact
HM: sirf masti sujhti hai na aapko... Situation toh dhyan mei rakhengi ki nahi?
M: sorry diii... Humara vo matlab nahi tha
HM: jo bhi tha, aap idhar masti karne nhi aayi hai, sikhne aayi hai, maryada ka dhyan rahe... Aur situations ka bhi, you get that?
Haseena asked raising one of her eyebrows in a questioning manner
M: y.. yes Maddamsir
HM: better, varna agar hum dhyan rakhne Lage toh soch lijiye fir
M: na... Nhi nhi, hum... Hum dhyan rakhenge agli baar se
Haseena nodded
HM: Ab aap idhar khadi rahengi, wall ko face krke...
Haseena pointed at a spot that was infront of her cabin's door
Mannat widened her eyes at the unexpected punishment
M: nhi na, sorry na
Haseena again raised one of her eyebrows in a questioning manner
HM: kyu? koi problem hai?
M (looked down and with an upset and unwilling way): nahi ....
HM: toh jaiye, par dhyan rahe, aapka dhyan ab bhi humari conversation pe hona chahiye
M: jii
Mannat went there and stood.
No one intervened, although they really wanted to save Mannat. But Haseeena and her ways to discipline was something no one wanted to test.
Then Haseena spoke to everyone, they discussed about a case and then before Haseena could enter her cabin, returning, Mannat stopped her
M: Maddamsir
HM: Jii
M: sorry na🥺
Haseena nodded, finally giving in, or so Mannat though
HM: aapki shift aaj kam time ke liye hai na?
M: jii
HM: kiske saath desk share karengi aap?
M: Karii dii
HM: okay, jaiye, par aaj khade rahengi aap
Mannat made her best puppy face and that had somewhat affected Haseena this time
HM: jab tak hum na bole, tab tak, jaiye
M (mumbled): yarr
Haseena gave her a glare and Mannat went to the desk, rather rushed.
She started doing the work Haseena told her to do while discussing.
After a while, Karisbma came to Mannat:
KS: ama tum ab tak khadi ho
Mannat made a puppy face
M: dekh rhe ho, kitna zulm hota hai is bachi pe, ab kya hi bataye aapko..
KS: pagli, chalo baith jao ab
M: parr heera dii ka kya?
KS: humari deal hui hai na (winked at Mannat, and Mannat nodded happily and sat)
Then KarEena were in Haseena's cabin discussing something when Haseena noticed Mannat sitting
HM: areh, ye baithi kyu hai? Humne toh ise khade rehne bola tha
KS: humne bola use baithne
HM: kisliye🤨🤨
KS: aap deal bhul gyi shayad
HM: par vo thaane mei invalid thi
KS: ji nahi, vo case related decisions mei invalid thi, aur Mannat ka khada hona kisi case se thodi related hai
HM: aap na
Haseena sighed and Karishma smiled sheepishly. They then continued talking about the case.
After the discussion, when Karishma was about to leave, KarEena heard Mannat talking to someone, on seeing carefully they noticed that she had an airpod plugged into her ear and she was blabbering:
M: haan meri jaan, merko pata hai time ka, aur mai thik teri landing tak aa jaungi, chaap mat le
Caller: (muted conversation)
M: haan, thik hai baba, jaisa tu bole, ab bas jaldi se aa jaa, intezaar nahi ho rha hume... Kabse humari jaan humse dur hai
And in a few minutes Mannat declined the call.
While on the other side, in the cabin KarEena heard the entire conversation and Karishma looked at Haseena with wide eyes
KS: Hasi iska boyfriend hai kya?
Haseena broke out into laughter
HM: hahha, nahi
KS: ama nahi, haii boyfriend.... Varna koi jaan aise thodi bolta hai
HM: areh uski bestfriend aa rhi hai na Aaj, usi se baat kar rhi hogi
KS: jaan jaan kehkar (Karishma asked doubtfully)
HM: haan Karii, aap tension mat lijiye, hume pura bharosa hai ye apni us dost se hi baat kar rhi thi
KS: thik hai par agar koi boyfriend nikla toh hum us ladke ki khaal udhedh denge
HM: is umar mei nikla toh hum aapki laadli ko hi nahi chodhenge, boyfriend toh dur hi ki baat...
Then both KarEena spoke for a while and got back to do their work.
After 2 hours, it was time for Mannat to leave so she packed her items and collected the work she had done.
Aajke liye bas itna hi...
Finally the bestfriend is heree, toh aage kya hoga?
