We pass the two hours so soon without even realizing it, and soon we are the airport. The moment we've all been dreading for has finally come.

Edward turns the engine off and we all get out of the car in complete silence. Derek takes out his bag from the back as Ollie and I wait for him.

He first comes and stops in front of me and doesn't say a word, waiting for me to say something. I don't say anything and instead just hug him tightly. Tears which I have been holding, start falling uncontrollably as I whisper between sobs, "Thank you so much for everything. I will miss you so much. I love you so much but if you ever leave me again or hurt Ollie we're coming after you."

Derek's laugh vibrates through me as he tries to calm me by patting my back, "Of course, Candy. You have every right to do so but I won't give you a chance to do so. And I love you too; I am always there for you." I notice wavering in his voice. Is he crying?

I pull back to notice he is crying. I break down more at the sight of that. I hug him once more, "Come back soon."

He shakes his head and say, "No, this time you're gonna come."

I chuckle through my sobs and nod my head, "Sure, I will do. Now, go get your girl." I say pulling apart and wiping his tears. He dries off my face with the back of his palm and smiles at me notoriously.

"Yes, I will," he says and turns to Ollie and kisses her passionately. I turn around to face Edward giving them some privacy.

"Come here," Edward says as he opens his arms to engulf me in a hug. I do as he says and let his body heat warm me. "Don't think I didn't notice your sweatshirt. It suits you, sunshine. We are meant to be," his slow words sooth me more as I laugh along with cry into his chest.

His t-shirt is gonna be ruined. "I know," I whisper and he runs a hand down my spine causing electric jolts to pass through my entire body. His act of even reassuring me is turning me on. Fuck me. He looks down at me and forces me to look up by tilting my chin.

I am pretty sure I am red by now because of my uncontrollable sobs. He lightly kisses my mouth taking away my breath at the unexpected action. Suddenly, I don't feel cold or sad anymore but only warm. But the warmth of his touch is short lived as he pulls apart because it's time for Derek to go.

Derek walks up to Edward and I go to Ollie who's also crying. "We both look hideous," she says as a small smile spreads across her face.

"We can't always be the prettiest in the room. We gotta give others a chance," I say and we both burst out laughing.

We both wouldn't have believed the next thing that happens if we had not witnessed it with our own eyes; Edward and Derek hugged. But more shocking thing is that Derek just extended his hand for handshake but Edward is the one who went in for a hug. Whoa.

I look at Ollie who has the same reaction as me and we both are at complete loss of words. How did this even happen? "Well, there's a first time for everything like I cried for a boy," Ollie says with a shrug and yeah, she's not lying.

"Fair point."

Derek says final goodbyes to everyone as he walks to the main gate of the airport and we wait for him to head inside before going back to the car.

As expected, the car ride was much heavier and sadder than before. I sat with Ollie in the back for half way as she needed some morale support and I did too. We just sat quietly, she even fell asleep once. I am glad she did because she was not able to stop crying.

It's new to see her cry over a boy. Though Derek is a very good guy so it makes sense but it's still too sappy for Ollie. I really want them to work out this long distance thing or I will kill them both. I will help them whenever I can.
