Edward takes me to ground floor as we walk hand in hand. The ground floor is totally opposite of Edward's usual demeanor; totally different from his room. It's all sculptures, golden lights and flashy chandeliers. The living room is enormously big with a coffee table, a 75 inch television and leather couch cover the area beyond the front gate and after that it is simple with not much furniture.

Beside the flight of stairs, is an enormous piano, which I assume is played by Cassie. "Does your sister play it or is it just there?" I ask as I let go off Edward's hand to walk over to the piano and graze my fingers over the keys, a random music playing by the action.

"Charlotte, you just underestimated me. The answer is none of the above. I play it," Edward says, clearly offended, as he walks over and settles down at the bench in front of the piano. I whip around instantly to look at him wide-eyed.

I go and sit beside him, nudging him in the shoulder, I plead, "You never told me, now show me some of your skills."

He just smiles and nods before taking a deep breath. His fingers start gliding flawlessly over the keys. The soft melodious tone is like a lullaby. It's soft and sweet. The tone is unrecognizable so, I am sure that they are self-made chords by him. Just when I thought he couldn't get more magnificent.

I look at him like he is an eye candy and adore every note that he hits. I didn't think he had enough patience to play music but god, I was so wrong. His eyes are closed as he plays the piano. How can he play with his eyes closed? What the actual fuck?

I rest my head on his shoulder and I can feel his hands flexing and moving. I close my eyes taking in the feel of him. I wish we could stay like this forever. 'Forever' is such a big term but we tend to throw it so casually like it's not a lifelong commitment. We're so rash and impetuous with our decisions sometimes. But on second thought, impetuous is just a synonym of love.

I just know that Edward and I will either end so badly that it would be more than just a heart ache or it is direct forever. There's nothing in between. Edward stops playing the melody pulling me out my fantasies and I look up at him with bright eyes.

"That was just the most beautiful thing I have ever heard, Edward," I say and suddenly, pink rushes to Edward's cheeks as he passes one of his bad boy grins.

"I have been playing it since I was a kid. It has always been an escape-from-the-outside-world kind of thing for me. I can just pretend that all the problems don't exist and it's just me and the music. Now, it's you, me and the music," His words are delicate like silk and I feel like I am embraced in the softest fabric to have ever existed.

"Edward, don't say things like that," I say as crimson feels every part of my skin.

Edward cocks an amusing brow at me, "Why? Afraid that you might fall for me?" Too late for that and we both know that.

"Hmm, I think it's a little too late for that now. That's already done and said," I say with a wink as I get up. "Now, show me more," I say as I walk over to the kitchen.

Edward follows me with a smile. The kitchen is enormously big with a white island that is shining righter than diamonds. I walk over to the double door refrigerator-freezer to find some ice cream. There are two flavors; blueberry and chocolate. I am most definitely taking chocolate but just to be generous, I will ask him.

"Chocolate or blueberry?"I ask as I show him both the boxes.

Edward walks stealthily towards me and he tucks a loose strand of hair behind my ear before speaking, "Sweetheart, as much I would love to lick the ice cream off of you, I can't have much sugar right now, you know. So, you can eat whichever flavor you want. Anyways, I have had fair share of sweetness for tonight."
