22. Ain't giving in no more.

No one's POV.

Freen was shocked. Never had Becky done that before. It was always her who's the impulsive one, the pushy one.

She was the one who kissed her first now she regrets it. Her body was fighting with her mind. It's as if her mind's screaming that she's off her plan. It even pictured her dad when he stormed in her office. That brought her back to her senses. She pushed her. Their eyes met. The intensity of Becky's stare... The lust in her eyes are so tempting for Freen. Yet...

"I'm done pretending." Freen said pushing her. She walked towards the door.

She was surprised when Becky blocked her.

"You walking away... That is you pretending."

"I'm not." Freen tried to get past her but Becky pushed her towards the wall.

"You're not what? Pretending you no longer care? That you no longer like me?"

"As I said, I'm not pretending. And yes..." Freen leaned closer. "I no longer like you."

She successfully pushed her and walked out the door and headed out the main door. Once she's out, a hand grabbed Freen by the arm and pulled her making her turn.

"No longer like me? Your kiss says otherwise."

"That was nothing." She turned again but Becky won't let go. They stared at each other. Becky's eyes shows she's hurt.

"Why are you like this! You clearly said we should stay away from each other and then you kiss me?" Becky said as she starting to feel frustrated and confused.

When Freen kissed her, her feelings for her that she keeps suppressing suddenly pops up. That's why she kissed her back. But now, Freen is pushing her away.

"Wanna know why? ill show u why." Freen said.

Freen hold her wrist pull Becky towards her. She caught her, held her by the neck and kissed her. Though startled and confused, In a second Becky kissed her back.

When she did, Freen pushed her.

"See? That's why... You keep saying you don't want to be with me, yet when I kiss you You kiss me back. Who are you fooling? You're fooling me and yourself. Cause despite everything you say, you still deny what you feel, what you truly want. And I'm done with it." Freen said starting to get mad.

For her, she had been frustrated the fact that Becky responds to her kiss but then push her away. Is it really about Richie like how she claims? Is she confused of what she may feel? Is she denying what she really is? It hurts to be the one who's being pushed away and she's not getting a revenge by doing the same to her. Aside from the fact that she needs to straighten her life... She was never true to herself or worse she could never be...

Freen turned and was about to walk away when Becky hold her wrist, spun her around and kiss her again.

But this time, Freen was ready. Her mind was set. She pushed her one last time and said...

"No, I ain't giving in no more."

Freen turned and hurriedly walked to her car leaving a stunned Becky. She was so surprised of what Freen did that she's now rooted at the spot.

Meanwhile across the parking lot, Ed Sarocha was standing by his car smiling. He witnessed the whole thing. His daughter is now on the right track. He admits he expect little from her cause he don't know her. She grew up with her mom and he just knew about her just a few years back. Yet she looked a lot like him.
