58. To experiencing many 'first times' together.

I just finished cleaning up when I received a call. I was excited upon seeing it's Freen.

"Hi Babe!"

"Hi Baby."

"I was about to call you now that I'm done cleaning up."

"Really, you're done? Well you just missed a stem on the side of the rack behind you."

I turned and saw the stem. I picked it up and put it on the trash can.

"Thanks. Wait... how did you...." That's when I realized she must be here so i looked ahead and saw her smiling and waving by the window. "Waaah!"

I hung up the phone and gestured to her to go to the door. I hurriedly went there and open all the locks. And when I open it, I immediately went to her and hug her.

She laughed. "I miss you too but can we at least get inside first."

I laughed and let her go. I then locked all the locks, took her hand and lead her towards the back.

"Next time I'll use the back door. That's a lot of locks."

"I agree and maybe get your own key too." I told her smiling.

Once in the kitchen I let her sit on the stool, went in between her legs and hug her then kissed her.

"Hmmm... It's so nice to come home every night to a hug like this."

"It is. It kind of takes a bit of the stress away." I said in agreement as I tightened my arms on her.

"Tiring day?"

"As always. You?"

"As always. We're doing double time in planning the US construction. I nearly fainted upon seeing the projected expenses. It'll cost a lot."

"I'm sure it'll be worth it. The US Equinox will regain that within months only." I said before planting another kiss on her lips.

"I was worried but I forgot it right away cause of your kiss. How about more of that..." She said before pouting.

I laughed at her and kiss her more. The kiss went more deep but was suddenly cut short with our own laughter. While kissing, Freen's tummy suddenly growled making us both laugh.

"Are you too hungry or can you wait while I cook?"

"Too hungry. Let's just order."

She turned me around while still hugging me so that I could see the menu on her phone.

Half an hour later we were already eating dinner. Halfway through it Freen took my hand.

"Me and Heng was talking earlier after work. We thought why not have a week off just before we depart to the US."

"Really? You can do that?"

"Of course, I'm my own boss." She said looking proud.

I laugh at her. "I like that."

"Yeah? Nice idea right. I'll make sure it'll be the perfect week."

"Where do you and Heng plan to spend it?"

"Oh..." She paused as she finished what's on her mouth first. "No, I'll plan our own getaway."

"I bet Heng opposed."

She laughed. "He did and he tried to convince me like for 10 minutes. The guy just want to ride on for free. What do you think made him stop pestering me?"
