Yuta stared at Mark, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. They had been through so much together, and now it was all coming to an end. He knew what he had to say, but it didn't make it any easier.

"Mark..." he began, his voice barely above a whisper. "I wish I could forget you."

Mark's face fell, and it was clear that Yuta's words had hit him hard. "What...what do you mean?" he asked, his voice shaking.

Yuta took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I mean that I wish I could forget all of this," he said, gesturing between them. "All of the feelings I have for you. All of the memories we've made together. I wish I could just erase it all and start over."

Mark's eyes were wide with shock, and Yuta could see the hurt in them. He knew he was being cruel, but he couldn't help it. The pain was too much to bear.

"Why?" Mark asked, his voice barely a whisper. "Why would you want to forget me?"

"Because it hurts too much," Yuta said, his voice cracking. "Because every time I see you, I'm reminded of what we could have had. But we can't have it, Mark. We can't be together. And I can't keep living like this."

Mark stepped closer to Yuta, his hand reaching out to touch his arm. "But...we could try," he said softly. "We could try to make it work."

Yuta shook his head, tears rolling down his cheeks. "No, Mark. We can't. You know we can't. It's too complicated. It's too risky. I can't keep living in this constant state of uncertainty."

Mark's hand dropped to his side, and he took a step back. "I...I understand," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "But...I'm going to miss you, Yuta. So much."

Yuta closed his eyes, trying to hold back the sobs that were threatening to escape. "I'm going to miss you too, Mark," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "More than you'll ever know."

They stood there in silence for a few moments, the air heavy with unspoken words. Yuta knew that this was it. This was the end.

"I...I should go," Mark said finally, his voice barely audible. "I'll...I'll see you around, Yuta."

Yuta nodded, unable to trust himself to speak. He watched as Mark turned and walked away, his heart breaking with every step. He knew that he would never forget Mark, no matter how hard he tried. But maybe, just maybe, he could learn to live without him.

The way Yuta is the exact opposite irl💀
