Jaehyun and Johnny had been dating for almost two years now. They had met in college where Jaehyun pursued a degree in music and Johnny in business. They had immediately hit it off despite their different career paths. However, it was their individual personalities that brought them closer.

Jaehyun had always been a passionate soul. He loved singing and had been doing it since he was five years old. He would spend hours practicing his pitch, range, and control. Jaehyun would use his apartment, which he shared with Johnny, as his personal music studio. He had transformed their living room into a mini recording booth with a microphone and a guitar. Johnny, on the other hand, was a silly guy. He loved making people laugh and had an infectious personality. He loved telling jokes, cracking funny one-liners, and making Jaehyun smile.

One evening, Jaehyun was singing his heart out, practicing a song he had written himself when Johnny walked in with a goofy look on his face.

"Hey, babe! What's up?" Johnny asked, taking a seat next to Jaehyun.

Jaehyun looked at Johnny with a smile and replied, "Nothing much, just practicing."

Johnny nodded, impressed, "For your next big gig?"

Jaehyun chuckled, "I wish it were that. I'm just glad you're enjoying my singing."

"How can I not?" Johnny said as he put his arm around Jaehyun's shoulder. "Your singing gives me goosebumps."

Jaehyun blushed, feeling flattered, "Thank you, love."

However, Johnny's silly side could not hold back, "But you know what? I think I can sing better. Let me show you."

Jaehyun raised an eyebrow, amused, "Really?"

Johnny nodded, "Yes, just watch and learn."

Johnny, without warning, began to sing "Happy Birthday" in the loudest, most out-of-tune voice possible, making Jaehyun burst into a fit of laughter. Johnny continued singing, his voice cracking, making his performance even more ridiculous.

Jaehyun cringed at first but then started laughing so hard he couldn't breathe, "You're so weird, I swear to god,"

Johnny beamed, pleased with himself. "Yes, I know. But you love me anyway."

Jaehyun nodded, unable to stop laughing, "Yes, I do."

After they both regained their composure, Jaehyun hugged Johnny tightly. "I'm grateful for your sense of humor. You always know how to make me feel better."

Johnny hugged back, "Of course, babe. That's what I'm here for."

As they both cuddled on the couch, Johnny's phone rang, and he answered it.

"Hello?" Johnny said, smiling at Jaehyun. However, his expression changed, "What? No way!"

Jaehyun raised an eyebrow, curious, "What happened?"

"That was my boss," Johnny explained. "He wants me to go to India for a business trip next week."

Jaehyun looked surprised, "Wow, that's amazing. Is everything okay?"

"Yes, everything is great," Johnny replied, beaming. "I'll be representing the company at a conference. I can't believe it."

Jaehyun hugged Johnny tighter, "I'm proud of you. You deserve this."

Johnny nodded, "Thanks, babe."

Jaehyun felt proud of Johnny's achievements, but he also felt a tinge of sadness. He would be gone for a week, and Jaehyun hated being away from Johnny. "I'm going to miss you so much."

Johnny gave Jaehyun a reassuring grin, "Don't worry. I'll be home before you know it. Plus, we have Facetime nowadays, remember? You won't miss me too much."

Jaehyun laughed, "Yeah, you're right. And, hey, I'll have the apartment all to myself. Maybe I'll finally get some peace and quiet."

Johnny chuckled, "Hey now, don't forget about my singing in the shower. You'll miss that."

Jaehyun put his hand to his heart, "How could I forget?"

Johnny stood up, excitement in his every step, "Well, I better start packing. I leave in two days."

Jaehyun stood up as well, "I'll help you pack. You don't want to forget your silly hat."

Johnny turned around, a giant grin on his face, "Thanks, babe. You're the best."

Jaehyun smiled back, "Always."

Jaehyun and Johnny spent the rest of the evening packing and talking about Johnny's trip. As they went to bed that night, Jaehyun couldn't help but feel grateful for Johnny's humorous personality. Yes, Johnny could be a goofball, but he was also loving, supportive, and always knew how to make Jaehyun smile. Jaehyun started to drift off to sleep but not before giving Johnny a goodnight kiss.

"Goodnight, my love," Jaehyun whispered.

"Goodnight, Jae," Johnny replied, turning off the light.

Jaehyun and Johnny's love story was unique. They may have had different interests, but they were in love, and that was all that mattered. They may have their ups and downs, but their love for one another only grew stronger.
