Jeno and Renjun were sitting on the couch in their apartment, cuddled up together, watching their favourite TV show. The room was dimly lit, and the only sounds were the sound of their breathing and the faint hum of the TV.
Renjun took a deep breath and asked, "Jeno, do you ever think about what our life would be like if we had met each other earlier?"
Jeno turned his head to look at Renjun, his eyes softened and replied, "Yeah, sometimes I do. I just can't imagine my life without you in it, you know?"
Renjun chuckled, "I know, me too. But imagine if we had met in high school instead of college, we could have spent more time together."
Jeno smiled, "Maybe in another life we could have, but I'm grateful for every moment we've spent together. And besides, high school was tough. I don't think I would have been ready to come out then."
Renjun leaned his head on Jeno's shoulder, "I know, but I still wish we had more time together. I just love spending time with you."
Jeno wrapped his arm around Renjun and pulled him closer, "Me too, babe. I can't imagine my life without you in it."
The two men sat in silence for a moment, just enjoying each other's company. They knew that they were lucky to have found each other and that they cherished every moment they had together.
Renjun spoke up, "You know, maybe in another life, we'll find each other sooner and have more time together. But for now, I'm just glad that we met when we did and that we have each other."
Jeno smiled, "Yeah, me too. I love you, Renjun."
"I love you too, Jeno," Renjun replied, as he leaned in and kissed Jeno on the lips.
As they sat there, holding each other, they both knew that no matter what life brought their way, they would always have each other. They were grateful for every moment they had together and were ready to face whatever the future held, knowing that they were stronger together.
Maybe in another life, they would have met earlier, but in this life, they were meant to meet when they did, and they were grateful for it.
