Jungwon tried to imagine all the possibilities of what Giselle had planned.

He glances at his phone. Was this the right address? Frowning, he wondered why Giselle would bring him to a convenience store.

In his peripheral view, he could see a person making their way to him. "Hi, Jungwon!" Giselle runs up to him, only to double down and cough, panting, "Sorry for being late," she wheezes out.

"Are you okay?!?" Immediately, Jungwon lowered his body to meet her height, only managing to see a slight flash of silver before it disappeared as if it had never been there. He blinks in confusion. He must've been hallucinating.

She waves Jungwon away. "I'm fine, just tired from running around. I woke up a bit late," she admits.

"You're sure you're okay?"

Giselle laughs, "You don't need to be worried about me, I can take care of myself." Her eyes fixate on the store in front of them, "First, let's buy some snacks!"

Following Giselle, who was happily skipping inside, Jungwon stares at the snacks on display, "Are we going to the movies or something?"

She glances back at him. "That's for me to know and you to find out. Just pick out some of your favorite snacks." she answers mysteriously before disappearing into another aisle.

Turning his attention back to the shelves, Jungwon peered at the snacks. His eyes fell on various different types of chips and he eagerly reached out to grab his favorite before placing them in an empty basket lying on the ground.

After a few minutes of exploring and an almost-filled basket, Jungwon searched for Giselle, finding her in another aisle.

She extended her arm to a bag of candies hanging from a pole. Her fingers grazed the plastic, but failed to grab it. Jungwon watched her scowl to herself before reaching even higher. This time, she grabbed the bag, making eye contact with Jungwon.

Arms filled with snacks, Giselle walks towards him, face tinted with red. "How long have you been waiting?"

"Not long," he assured her, eyeing her snacks, "Candy? Like the ones that were in your bag?"

"Yeah, you snoop," she elbows him, only for one of the bags to tumble onto the ground. Seeing her beginning to bend down to get it, Jungwon quickly squatted down and picked it up.

Placing the package in his basket, he asks, "Where are we going?"

"Not telling."

They both made their way to the cashier, dutifully placing their items on the conveyor belt. "I'll pay," Jungwon says quickly and to his surprise, Giselle just calmly nodded.

He gazed at the countless amount of snacks and wondered what they were for.

"Seoul Orphanage?" he reads off the sign.

They were standing in front of a huge building that resembled an old school house. Lifting his head to get a better view of the building, he squints, "An orphanage?"

"You'll see," she replied, tugging his arm forward to the door.

They both entered the building and Jungwon was welcomed by the pastel splash of yellow on the walls. White furniture surrounded them and a rainbow plaque hung from the front desk. It seemed more of a daycare than an orphanage.

"Giselle? Here for another visit?"

Giselle walked up to the front desk and smiled with Jungwon slowly tailing behind, "Hey, Minsoo," she greets him, "Did anyone get adopted yet?"
