Jungwon didn't know what he felt about Kwon Giselle.

Of course, she was a good friend. She had listened to his rants when no one would've noticed what happened and offered him comfort. But he didn't know if he liked her as a friend or more.

It had been months since Sakura's death. He didn't know if he still loved her. He didn't think of her as much either. Did that mean he finally moved on? Part of him felt guilty. Was he being a bad person for forgetting Sakura?

Again, he had no answers to those questions.

And Giselle... She was so much more different from Sakura even though they had been best friends. Giselle was more introverted and thoughtful while Sakura was extroverted and energetic.

And while Jungwon genuinely enjoyed being with Giselle... he didn't know if it was because Giselle was a substitute for Sakura's missing presence or he liked liked her.

Jungwon groaned into his pillow. Why were feelings so complicated?

Ugh. He would deal with it later.

He scrolled through his phone. Played some games. Ate snacks. But he was still bored.

The others were probably busy. Jungwon only had one option left: Giselle.

It wasn't like he had anything against making friends with opposite genders.. And after that whole feeling dilemma, Jungwon probably would rather stay bored.

Sighing, he texts Giselle.

yjwon

hey are you free?

Almost immediately, the three dots appeared on the screen.

kwongiselle

yeah. why?

yjwon

can i come over...?

Jungwon cringed at himself. That was absolutely not smooth. He facepalmed himself.

kwongiselle

uh... sure? why though?

yjwon

just because. 12?

kwongiselle

Was Jungwon probably going to be late for his meet up with Giselle he scheduled? Absolutely yes.

He hurried into her apartment floor, already about 15 minutes late. He knocks on the door and stands there, waiting for her to open the door.

The door opens, revealing a messy haired Giselle, who smiles sheepishly, "Hey, Jungwon. Sorry if I look untidy, I didn't really get time to freshen up."

The flower necklace he had given her hung from the base of her neck, shining like a beacon. Honestly, Jungwon really couldn't tell the difference between regular Giselle and bed-haired Giselle, except the hair, which still looked good on her. He found it, in a way, endearing the way she fretted over this.

"It's fine," he assures her, "Trust me, I look worse in the morning."

Giselle steps aside, "Come in."

The homey atmosphere hit Jungwon immediately. Nothing had really changed since he had been last here. The decor was quite humble and neat, yet cozy.

"What do you want to do?" Jungwon was so absorbed in surveying her home that he almost jumped. He turns his head to Giselle, who was at his side. She tilts her head innocently at the coffee table, "I prepared snacks. We could watch K-dramas or play video games. I also have a couple of board games, if you'd like."
