GUN'S POV

He was walking with a heavy stride patungo sa kanyang bagong opisina. He and Senri had just returned from a visit to Iceland, and honestly, I don't know what they were doing in that freezing wasteland. I kept my questions to myself and instead focused on the folder in my hands.

At first, I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that Aqueros has a younger sister. We've been childhood friends, but never kong nakita si Sinji sa bahay nila noon. It turns out, she's the daughter of Tito from another woman.

Aqueros grew up in a world defined by a complicated family, a dangerous environment, and a brutal way of living. The name 'Bloodfist' isn't just a surname that people can casually mention in public. It carries a heavy history—a tragic past filled with secrets that no one in their right mind would want to dig up.

"What on earth is Senri doing? Why didn't he gather enough evidence?"

A cold, razor-sharp voice rang in my ears. Kahit na mas matanda ako kay Aqueros, his presence always commands a different kind of fear. His aura gives me goosebumps every time he speaks in that tone. But since we both grew up in this twisted world, I understand his desperation. I know the weight of his responsibility toward his sister.

"Senri did everything beyond his limits. Hindi biro ang sindikato na hinahanap natin, dude. They are ghosts," I replied, trying to level with him.

He marched inside, and I followed closely behind. I did the same, sitting across from him, knowing that if I stayed standing, I'd look like a random bystander instead of his right-hand man.

But as we started talking about work, I had to set aside our friendship. Professionalism is the only thing that keeps us alive in this business.

"I destroyed all of their territories," Aqueros muttered, his jaw tightened. "Why the hell do they always make a move at my blind spot?"

"That's the question. Isa rin sa mga gumugulo sa isip ko ngayon ay ang tattoo sa batok ni Sinji na nakita mo. Based on our observations since she came under our protection, she has been through hell." I leaned forward, counting the incidents. "First, they raided our old headquarters without us knowing she was just in your hidden room. Second, she wrecked your office—though I don't blame her since she wasn't herself. And third... that tattoo. Ano ang ibig sabihin no'n?"

I looked straight into Aqueros eyes, but I saw nothing. They were like dead, pitch-black orbs—void of emotion, yet filled with a brewing storm.

"We need to solve this problem immediately before it's too late, Gun. Can you do me a favor?"

"Sure. What is it?" I straightened my posture. I faced him not as a friend, but as a subordinate ready for orders.

"Call these people and send them to this location."

Luther slid a piece of paper across the desk. It was a picture of a mountain with a massive, fortress-like building nestled in the center. On the back, there was a list of names. I didn't recognize any of them except for Senri, Rent, and myself.

"Who are these people?" I asked, frowning.

"They are part of my soul, Gun. They are the Bloodfist."

I didn't say another word. I simply nodded, acknowledging the gravity of his request. I stood up to leave, but before my hand could reach the doorknob, my phone vibrated aggressively. I stopped in my tracks and answered it.
