Tori
"What do you think of K.C" I ask Neal as he's doing some type of work. As usual.
"What an odd question. Why do you need my opinion of him?" He asks still looking down. "I would ask my dad, but he's on a business trip. And I'm not talking to my mom, so I guess you're the last one I can ask" I say. He just sighs and doesn't answer me.
"Answer me." I demand.
"He's.. nice" he says, not convincing.
"He's nice?" I repeat- I need more that that.
"What else?"
"What else? Tori, I don't have time for your games" he says looking annoyed.
"Relax, I'm just asking." I look away.
"We're going out today. Hopefully alone" I say looking back at him. I think he got the hint. We don't want him there. He slightly lifts his head, just enough so I can see his eyes.
"Talk to your dad, I'm done fighting over this every single day."
"Neal! Please.. I'm 16, this is getting embarrassing. A babysitter but worse. A full time babysitter following my every move. I can't do this anymore!" I raise my voice, trying to get the message through He doesn't move an inch, he just keeps writing whatever he is writing. I just look at him, waiting for him to say something.
"Are you listening?!" I feel annoyed and I feel the anger inside of me. Am I talking to a wall? I take the paper from of him, and throw it across the room.
"Hey!" He says and looks surprised, in an angry way.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He says.
"So now i have your attention?" I say looking at him, but feeling like I'm about to pee myself.
"Pick it up and put it back on the table." He says very calm, but I can see that he is pissed. I act like I didn't hear anything. But I can see he is waiting for me to react. I look at him coldly in the eyes. "I don't think so" I smile mockingly and leave. I'm scared for my life, but right now - I feel so cool.
I pick you up at 7. - K.C
He just texted me, Mason is having a little get together at his place. That boy's parents are never home, he's always throwing parties. But what the hell, it's awesome for us. I just think I will wear something casual, but still pretty. Maybe a dress that doesn't scream attention. My dad got me a cute dress from Paris. He got home three days ago, I have missed him like hell. Luckily I got to spend some time with him before he leaves for another business trip, he promised that it will be the last one for a long time.
I find the dress in my wardrobe and it fits perfectly for the occasion. I just put my hair up in a ponytail, and apply a little mascara just to look fresher. This should do it. I am satisfied with the finished result. I look at my watch 6.59- K.C should be here any moment.
The doorbell rings. Here he comes. I run down and he's standing by the door. And Neal is standing by the door. With his jacket on.
"Bye Neal." I say. I am trying to make him stay, but he just laughs.
"I mean it."
"So do I." He says and takes his keys from the table. "You know, I would have let you go by yourself, but then you decided to be a-" He stops for a second, I know he wants to call me a bitch. "To be a girl without proper manners, so now I am going with you." He says and smiles broadly.
"Bitch" I whisper at his response.
"I heard that." He says indifferently and opens the door. "Shall we?" he asks and continues to smile. He knows how much it bothers me. K.C just walks out, I know it annoys him too that he has to go with us everywhere, but he doesn't say anything.
