Chapter 25- I'm not your friend

Tori

I arrive to school- and on time. Everybody is already sitting on their seats. K.C is sitting in the middle of class, 4 seats away from me, thank god for that. He hasn't even tried to talk to me, am I really that easy to forget? Serena comes in too, just before Neal shows up. She smiles brightly at K.C and it seems like he is forcing a smile back. Why did he do that? Serena noticed it too, I guess, because her face expression changes. She looks a little hurt. Good.

Neal comes in and he starts talking about the essay and what we are going to write. After spending 30 minutes on how to structure it he calls K.C out.

"I need to talk to you, come with me." He says and I know what he is going to talk about. I shouldn't have let him, this is so awkward.

"Just read the document till I get back." Neal says and closes the door behind him.

K.C

What is this about? Mr. Celtic has never wanted to talk with me before.

"What is it, Mr. Celtic?" I ask confused. I have always been showing up on time, and making my homework, so I don't see why he wants to talk to me.

"Normally I would have talked to you outside school, but this is a special situation because it's involving two of my students." he says and I already know where this is going. I wait for him to continue.
"First of all, whatever you do, make up your mind now. Whatever you have been doing has been affecting both girls, Tori and Serena. I'm not here to scold you, or decide for you. This is an advice." He says.

This is so weird, Neal is my teacher and here he is lecturing me about what I do in my spare time.I can't help but to feel a bit uneasy with the whole situation. I should've never kissed Serena, she's been texting me since that night.

"I don't quite understand, sir. I have nothing to do with Tori." I say. I don't, she said she doesn't like me, I just left her alone. Even though I know she's lying, but still. If she has a problem with me kissing Serena, then she could've come over to me.

"Please, K.C. Don't act stupid. You let her on, and then you messed up. I don't know the details, and I do not wish to know, but I expect of you to talk to her and explain."

"I let her on? She told me to stay away from her, so I did. And she won't talk to me." I explain myself.

"Made her tell how she feels about you, then suddenly having a change of heart, does that ring any bell. Well anyways, I'm not the one you should explain to. Fix this" He says and I can't help but chuckle. Well I guess she left out an important detail in her own role in this mess.

"I didn't have a change of anything, she did. What did she tell you?" I ask curious

."You know, so I have an idea of her side of the story." I add

"That you were saying stuff to her and that she thought you liked her, and that you made her tell you that she liked you and she thought you would kiss her or something, but you just stared at her. Then at the party you hooked up with Serena." He says very fast without taking a break. I feel like I need to gasp for air.

"I hooked up with Serena after she said she doesn't like me and that I should leave her alone." I say and try to defend myself. "But I'll talk to her." I reassure him.

"Do that." he says and walks into the class again. I can't believe she told Neal what happened. But it kind of makes me happy, so she saw it and it did affect her. I walk into the class again and Tori is looking down at her desk. I'll talk to her in the break. I need to talk with Serena first and clear things out with her. The lesson goes by very fast and everybody leaves. Serena is walking slowly looking at her phone. I guess she wants to talk too. I call out her name and we find somewhere quiet to talk.
