Tori
As I am walking through the school halls, I see Serena and K.C talking. I pass them quickly, looking away. I don't feel like talking right now.
"Hey, Tori - where are you going?" I hear K.C ask. I turn around and fake a smile but don't really succeed.
"I-I'm going home. I'm feeling sick." I hear my voice tremble, and I feel like my heads going to explode.
"Are you okay?" K.C asks and walks over to me. Serena is just standing there.
"Yeah, I'm fine- I just have a headache." I say and try to smile.
"Guess someone doesn't like our new teacher." He jokes making me smile a little.
"He's so annoying, and now he is our teacher." I say disapprovingly.
"It's enough that he stalks me in my spare time, but now I can't even have some time alone here in school."
"Yeah I understand, but is he keeping an eye on you here too?" K.C asks
"I don't know, I bet he is.." I say and sound very dead.
Serena is just standing there all alone, maybe they weren't finished with whatever they talked about.
"What were you two talking about?" I ask. I really should learn to mind my own business but when it comes to her, I need to know.
"I just told her we could be friends and end things quietly." He says.
"Were you done talking, I think she waiting for you." I say. He turns his head and look at her then turn it back to me.
"I don't really know what else to say, we both agreed not to make it awkward." He says.
"I see. Maybe you should go over to her..." I say. I'm glad she's standing a bit far so she can't hear that we are talking about her.
"So you are going home?" he says.
"Yeah, I don't really feel like being here." He just nods.
"Serena is going home too, I think." He says.
I see Serena walking away as we talk. It was kind of awkward her just standing there. She guessed that K.C wouldn't come over to her again. He probably wouldn't. I just talk with him for a couple of minutes. I will take the bus, it will be here in about 8 minutes.
"It's so weird you and Serena aren't together anymore." I say. He chuckles. A sad chuckle.
"Yeah, it kind of is." Is all he says.
"Do you want to be back with her?" I ask. He is just looking at me, doesn't say anything for a couple of second. Then he clears his throat.
"No, I don't. It's.... it's really over this time." He says, he looks kind of sad.
"Are you sad about it?" I ask.
"You know, you ask a lot of questions." He grins, showing his perfect white teeth.
"I know, I get that a lot. Once I get started, I can't stop. Bad habit, and I am kind of curios." He just smiles.
"I not sad that did we break up, it's just sad that we have been together for so long and now it's all just over. She was a big part of my life, so it's kind of weird.. the whole situation. But I feel free now, I can do what I want. I haven't been single for 3 years. I was only 13 when we started going out and it was just like some kid thing back then, but then we stayed together for 3 years and it caught us both by surprise and.. yeah, it's just weird. We have known each other our whole life practically. She was my best friends before she was my girlfriend, and now we not talking anymore." He says with a sad look in his face.
