A year later

Tori

"Neal! We're running late for school!" I shout and open the door to his room. He's standing with his shirt open trying to button it. Why does this always happen. We've been sharing my bathroom since the guestroom's bathroom needs rebuilding. Making it even more awkward since he thinks I have a crush on him. That's my own fault, I should've never lied to my father about having feelings for this devil. Neal gave me a speech the other day about how hormones are a part of the human body, and how these hormones are especially active during puberty. He thinks I'm thirteen. He seems to be more comfortable around the house. He makes jokes now. About my flat chest, and how he could never me interested in me. Haha, funny. Sometimes he tells me, that there must be guys who like that kind of thing, and that I should not stress it. I know he's joking but it kind of makes me angry. I'm 17 now. I'm a grown woman. Why can't he see that.

"One minute I'm struggling with these buttons." He says and fumbles with them. "Damn it! Do they have to make them so small?"

"For god's sake!" I say and walk over to him, push his hands away and button the damn shirt.

"See? Not that hard Mr. I-can-do-everything." I say and walk over to the door again.

"Good thing I'm your teacher, at least you won't be late for class."

"I'm so lucky." I joke

"You are- does Serena need a ride?" He says and I immediately think of it the wrong way. I have become very dirty minded these days. Everytime someone says anything I take it the wrong way. And specially when it's Serena. I do think she needs one. She's not getting it from Mason anymore, and I don't know if she has found someone else to 'fulfill' her desires- or her raging hormones as Neal calls it. I haven't really talked to Mason since K.C left. It's already been a year.

"Tori?" Neal says and waves his hand in front of me.

"What?"

"Does she need a ride?" He says again and looks at me weirdly.

"No, I don't know. Ask her." I say. We walk down to the hall. Neal looks at Serena who's sitting in the kitchen. "Hey, do you need a ride?"

"No." She says and sounds annoyed. Neal failed her in english, so since we got our grades she has been acting very mean towards him. Not his fault that you're an imbecile.

We walk towards the car. "Hey, Neal - I was wondering if I could go to this party tonight?" I say as he gets in the car. I try to ask nicely.

"Which party?" He asks

"Hillary invited me, it's at the beach."

"You know you can go if you want to. Why ask me?" He says. Why do you think, Neal? This is my way of telling you to not come. "Can I go alone?" I ask looking at him almost begging.

"Why didn't you just say that first?" He says smiling and I smile too. That was easy. "Absolutely not." He adds.

My smile is gone. "Please Neal, please I beg of you. Hillary is like so cool and only the cool people are invited. And Alex from biology is going to be there. The cute one."

"Alex? I have never heard of him and I don't care. You're not going alone." Okay, I'm getting desperate. I throw my arms around him. "Please, say yes, I won't let go until you say yes, Neal!"

"Tori. I will strangle you if you don't let go. Right now." He says and sits still. I don't take my arms off him.

"Tori."

"Pleaseeeee." I say and tighten the hug. "I promise to behave" He doesn't say anything for a little while.

"Fine." He finally says. YEEES! "But- if you do anything, I will never let you go alone again."
OMG I AM FINALLY FREE. "Thank you, thank you, thank you Neal. You're the nicest evil-person I have ever met" I say and he just shakes his head.
