Serena

"You will never hang out with that girl again! You hear me Serena?" My dad yells. I have been sitting and hearing his lecture on yesterday's failure.

"Yes dad." I say just to get this over with. He doesn't want me to hang out with Rachel anymore, which I am perfectly fine with.

"This is the last time you call me from the jail." He says firmly and sits down again. He likes to stand up and scold me, makes it more dramatic.

"Yes dad." I say again.

"I mean it." He says.

"I know, I mean it too. It won't happen again. I promise." I say.

"Good." He stands up again and walks out of my room. It wasn't that bad. It only took him 15 minutes this time.

I call Jennifer, she had a way worse reaction at home. She smoked it and she was the one who yelled. And to make it worse, her parents are very strict. Her dad is very religious and so is her mom, but her dad a little more. I think that's why Jennifer hasn't been with any guy, she's afraid anything will happen. And because her dad said she will go to hell if she has sex before marriage. But she herself isn't that religious, she used to be once, I don't know what happened since she stopped. She believes in Jesus and all that, but she doesn't care so much anymore. And now they've grounded her. And to make it even more worse, they think it was my idea. They always think I am the one suggesting crazy things. I do usually, but nothing illegal to get them into trouble. But luckily she explained them what happened. I don't think her dad likes me, he thinks I have a bad influence on her. But I haven't done anything or made Jennifer do anything crazy, so that accusation is not reasonable. Though when the thing with K.C and the pregnancy thing happened, he was a little judgemental. I think he told Jennifer to stay away from me, but she got into a fight with him and stayed by my side anyway.

Bridget's parents are cool though, but Jen's dad have been talking with them about me. They used to be very nice to me, they still are, but Jen's dad made sure to keep an eye on me. I hate how they all think I am some twisted crazy person.

...

Sunday went by very fast. I woke up, got scolded and went back to sleep. And now I'm in the parking lot. For school, great. I can't wait to talk to Jennifer and Bridget about the other night. We haven't met up since that day. I lock my car and start walking towards the door. There are always alot of people five minutes before the bell rings. I walk by and I can't help but notice the stares of people around me. Some of them laughing. Is it because of the jail thing? They have probably heard it already. I ignore the staring and keep walking. I see Jennifer and Bridget by Jennifer's locker, nobody is looking at them? I start walking towards them, when suddenly a guy calls my name. I turn around, it's some jock from the basketball team.

"Yo, Serena!" He calls out, his friends laughing. I look at him.
"How did it happen? Did he take you from behind on the hood or from the front?" He says while laughing and puts his hands in front of him and pretending to do a doggystyle while moaning disgustingly. "Oh wait, he handcuffed you, didn't he? Oh yes, he definitely handcuffed you!" He says and I am standing there, all colors drained from my face. Everyone in the hall are whispering or laughing at what that guy just said. I can't move and it feels like I can't breath, but my heart is beating like never before. I look around the crowd and realize that once again, I am the center of all the attention. I see Mason standing at the other end, he doesn't look happy but just shakes his head. Jennifer and Bridget are also standing and looking at me. I can't really make out how they feel. Disappointed? Disgusted? Or sorry? Sorry that I have once again done something so horrible and now the school has found out. At the end of the corridor I see Rachel leaning against her locker, smiling. She must really enjoy this after everything I called her. The bell rings and everybody is still looking at me. I tighten my grip on my bag and walk as fast as I can towards the bathroom.
