Serena
A big white minivan with 8 seats is waiting outside our house. Omar, Wren, Silver and Stefan are standing outside with their bags. Tori is putting some snacks in her bag, this is a very long trip and she has prepared food for all of us. I hope.
I have downloaded a bunch of new songs so that I can listen to music the whole way, I always do that before a long trip, that's the only thing that keeps me occupied.
"Ready for the trip?" Stefan asks as I go outside.
"As ready as I can get." I reply. I am actually looking forward to sit in the car for 12 hours. It has been a while since I have been travelling. I especially love the pit stops and the looking out the window seeing the world pass by very fast.
I put my bags in the trunk and I am the first to take a seat. The car has 3 rows, 2 rows with 3 seats and then 2 seats in front. I sit at the backseat at the window. Stefan and Omar are the only one with driving license so they will be driving the whole way.
Tori is putting her last stuff in the car and she sits at the second row with Wren and Silver. Omar and Stefan are sitting in the front, and Stefan is the first one to drive. I am sitting all alone at the third row and I couldn't be happier.
What's better than have plenty of space for a long drive?
My dad and Angelina are standing outside the front window and talking to Stefan. He fastens his seatbelt.
"Have a safe trip! Call us when you are there." My dad says and walks a couple of meters away from the car with Angelina. Stefan starts the engine and we are all waving to Angelina and my dad. Soon we are out of our driveway and headed towards Atlanta.
4 hours have passed.
I take back what I said earlier, I am not excited about the long drive. Stefan has turned up for the music, so loud that I am not able to hear my own music in my earplugs. They are all laughing hysterically at something Omar said. I knew I should've just killed myself.
I can reach the trunk and I take the little pillow I brought with me and a blanket or it looks like a sheet, but it doesn't matter. The weather is hot so a sheet is just fine. I put the pillow down on the seat and stretch my feet, putting the sheet on and I am off to sleep. There is just one problem, I can't fucking sleep because of those dickheads and their annoying laughs.
2 more hours have passed. 6 hours left. God help me.
The car is not moving, I must have fallen asleep despite the noises. I get up and only Wren is in the car.
"Where is everybody?" I ask. We are parked in a parking lot with a gas station and a little shop.
"Bathroom" he says and is on his phone.
It hits me that this is the first time I am talking to Wren, and he doesn't seem like a chatty guy. I get out of the car and stretch out. I need to go to the bathroom too. I find it and see Tori and Silver in there. I ignore them.
"Okay pal, your turn to drive." Stefan says to Omar. Omar takes over the driver seat. I expected Stefan to sit at the front seat, but he is making his way over to my row.
"Mind if I crash here?" he says and takes off his shoes and sit next to me.
"Not at all." I reply and look at Tori. She clearly doesn't want him to sit next to me.
Stefan and I talk for 3 hours, and the look on Tori's face - let me just say, it feels like I have won the lottery. She hasn't said a word since he sat here.
We are finally at their house! And I must say, I did not expect to see something like this. They got a big house as well. A man comes out, he looks like he is at the end of the 30's. I guess it's Tori's dad. He greets Tori's friends and then he turns to me.
