I went inside her room to find her phone. I looked at her kitten roaming around the room in search of Daisy. I smiled and held that kitten and caressed its head. "Let me take you to your mum." I said and left the room.
I walked in my room and looked at Daisy closing her eyes. When I closed the door she opened her eyes and looked at me. I smiled and showed her the kitten. She smiled and sat straight. I went near the bed, the kitten jumped on the bed and sat on her lap while I gave Daisy her phone.
"If you want you call, do that. But no strain to your eyes or brain. Got it?" I said her and she nodded. "Got it," she smiled and took the phone. I went to my desktop and started working. I wore headphones and started working on my music.
After sometime I stopped and looked at Daisy who was lost somewhere. I went to her and sat on her bed. "Daisy..." i questioned and she looked at me. "Did you had a bad dream?" I questioned making her confused. "When you woke up, you cried. That's why I'm asking." I added and she looked down at her fingers and then towards the window.
"It's more like a reality." She said. "Remember when I told Ryan that I was adopted?" She questioned me and I nodded my head. "O was adopted by Wayne's real father and lived in Korea for 5 years. But students there were bullying me because I was not a Korean and gained alot I attention so my father and brother decided to move in USA. But when I came here, I got into an accident and lost all of the memories of my childhood. A year took me to recall my memories and still haven't remembered all of them. The doctor said it's okay to remember this much because if I focused more, it might damage my mental health." She said and sighed.
"And when I passed out in my balcony, I got another memory of my childhood and I don't know what it is. I saw two people die infront of my eyes and blood cover on my hands. That's it." She finished and cuddled with the kitten. I held her hand and caressed it with thumb. "It'll be fine. They might be your memories but I'm sure your strong enough to go through this hard phase." I said while she looked at me. "I'm always here for you." I said with a smile which made her smile. We both stayed like that for a while.
"Hey, when I was drunk, did I say that I was a star or something?" Daisy questioned me making me smirk and nod. "Yes, you said you wanted to be an honest star and I'm hotter than my brother." I exclaimed, making her hide her face in embarrassment. "I knew it." She said making me laugh. She then sneezed and I grabbed for some tissues for her. "You feeling good?" I got worried when she sneezed again. "A little cold I guess..." She added making me turn on the heater. "Don't turn it on! I can manage with blankets." She said and tried to sleep while I tucked her to bed.
"Go and do your work. I'll try to get some rest." She smiled and closed her eyes while I just couldn't stop staring at her. I felt my heart racing and felt like protecting and taking care of her. But I couldn't help falling in love with her.
Later that day
The boys and I were done recording video for our YouTube channel. We tried to be energetic but side by that, we were worried about Daisy's health. Specially about her past. I'm sure she can go through it but she should really need her family by her side now. I wanted to discuss this with Ty and was thinking to talk with her brother.
As we were done with recording, I decided to check up on her. I opened the door to see her on phone. She looked at me while I entered the room. "Yes, doctor." She said. I looked at the screen which shower the call was on speaker. "I guess you should inform about this to your family, Daisy." The doctor said. "You must stay with them like you did when you had the episodes two years ago." He added while Daisy bit her lower lip.
"My dad is in Canada performing surgeries at the NGO hospitals while my brother is in Korea for his further studies. I just couldn't bother them doctor." She said making the doctor stay silent. I looked at her who said me to sit on her bed. "But I'm living with my friend who knows my condition." She said making me nod. It felt like she wanted me to talk with her doctor. "Oh that's great." She said, "Pardon me for a moment, Daisy." He said and kept the call on hold. We both waited for the doctor to come back.
"Daisy, I've gotten an emergency surgery to attend, I must go now." He said. "Yes please doctor." She added. "Make sure you tell your friend to stay with you. Since you feel feverish, you might feel even worse." He added making me tilt my head. Like that they ended the call.
Before Daisy could say anything, I raised my hand to check the body temperature which was higher than mine's. "Daisy, you're burning up." I said and went downstairs. Apparently, the boys were talking and discussing about something which I went there to grab some clean towel and mix of cold and normal water. "Where were you bro?" Reige questioned me,
"Actually, Daisy's burning up. So I'm-" before I could say anything Ryan spoke up. "What?" He questioned, and I nodded. "The rain really got her to that point bruh." Justin added making me nod. "Let me go to her." Ryan started walking but I stopped him. "She doesn't want us to worry that much. And she doesn't know that I'm telling this to you guys. Let's just pray for her okay?" I questioned making him nod.
I then went to the room and looked at Daisy who was sleeping, "Daisy, sponge bathing might help." I slowly walked towards her who opened her eyes and nodded. "What did your doctor said?" I immediately questioned. "Actually, the last time when I was getting back my memories, I was having them as my nightmares for constantly 6 months. They were said as episodes." She sniffled and I nodded my head. "The doctor wants me to stay with someone who can actually be there with me through out the nights so that when I'm having a nightmare, someone would be there beside me. If I wake up seeing no one, I might get traumatic experience."
She said and I started to keep the wet towel on her forehead. "I'll be here for you okay? Don't be worried about it." I smiled making her nod, "most of my memories consisted of bad things like getting bullied and looking down. I don't know what my childhood looks like cause the people I saw today were my real parents." She said making me look at her. She seemed sad. "My dad knows about that past and my parents. That's why he's always so protective about me not being alone. And he doesn't want me to recall because those memories can be really heartbreaking." She added. I held her hand as a tear fell off from her eye.
"Daisy, thank you for opening up for me. I'll be here bringing you back from your harsh past and recalling you that you are living a best life now. You have great friends and a big family to supp lort you. And I'll always love you." I slipped my mouth while saying saying that. She looked at me while I realized what I said.
"Not only me but everyone loves you Daisy. You're like a family to me- I mean to us now." Shit. What was wrong with me? I smiled while she nodded her head and went back to sleep while I proceeded doing sponge bathing on her.
I really fell in love when we both ended up sleeping beside each other, watching her sleep under my arms while was looking at her beautiful face.
I really love her now.
