Death itself is scary but what makes it scarier is the thought of what happens after we die. Walang nakakaalam kung may pagkakataon pa ba na makikita natin ang mga mahal natin sa buhay o hindi na. They will mourn for months but their life will continue as if they lost no one. That's the reality of death. Everyone will remember your good deeds during the burial but forgot about it after years. It's just scary that they will not think about you anymore. It's scary that no one will visit your grave not until there's a special occasion.

To be forgotten by the people we love is painful pero mas masakit na hindi na makikita kung paano nila aabutin ang kanilang mga pangarap dahil nasa ilalim na tayo ng lupa. It hurts that you can't be present for someone's victory when you witnessed how they fought their battles.

Death is inevitable. There's no assurance what will happen the next days, therefore always seize the day because we will never know when we will be forgotten.

"Reni is dying, Ace. Kayo nalang ang hinihintay n'ya."

I thought that the hardest acceptance I did is to accept that Dawn and I can't be together anymore, but hearing that my best friend is dying is the hardest acceptance I have to accept.

"Our boutique is almost finished. Ang sabi mo, Ikaw ang magbabantay roon? We have plans, right? K-kahit hindi tayo nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral, magiging successful pa rin tayo. You promise that, right?"

My heart is dying with the sight of him. May nakakonektang tubo sa kan'ya na nagpapahirap sa kan'yang mag salita pero kahit na nahihirapan siya ay pilit n'ya pa rin akong kinakausap.

"We promise to be successful together. Please... Reni."

"Y-You'll be successful."

"We will, Reni. Friendship goals tayo, hindi ba? Ano ba ang gusto mong ipangalan sa boutique natin, hmm?"

"Tw~"

"Next week mo nalang sabihin para hindi ko makalimutan," my voice cracked.

"Twilight Rain... I want you to name our boutique under your daughter's name."

I nodded, "Alright. Let's talk about the interior next week?"

He didn't answer. He looks behind my back, "I-I want to talk to your daughter."

The door opened just in time. Twilight stared at him full of worry.

"Ninong Dada, why are you lying like that? And what are those?" tinuro n'ya ang mga bagay na naka kabit sa katawan ni Reni.

"Ninong Dada needs these so he can talk to you before he leaves."

Twilight's forehead creased, "Are you leaving po? Where are you going? Can Mommy and I come?"

"You can't, darling. It's far away."

"But you will still visit us naman po, Ninong Dada?"

"M-Maybe and maybe not." he shrugged, "Ninong Dada is not sure. But I promise that wherever I'll go, you will always be here..." Inangat n'ya ang palad sa puso n'ya.

"But I want you to visit us... or maybe we can visit you! I will miss you if you don't visit us."

"I will try my best to visit you often. Maybe, in your dreams? Or when you look at the sunset."

Kahit hindi naiintindihan ni Twilight ang sinasabi ni Reni ay tumango pa rin siya.

"I understand po. I love you Ninong Dada. Thank you for taking care of my mom when she was pregnant and thank you for taking care of me. You're the best!"
