"Uhm, t-thank you," I looked away.

He cleared his throat and shook his head. He went back to his seat.

"N-nasabi mo kanina na you'll have Console check-up. Wala kang klase?" I asked to break the awkward atmosphere.

"I won't go to class today," sagot n'ya.

I felt offended. I frowned at him. Sinasabi n'ya bang isusumbong ko siya?! I don't even know his guardians and the hell I care about his studies!

"Hindi, ah! Pakialam ko kung absent ka ngayon?" I rolled my eyes a bit.

It's his choice.

Cutting classes is part of being a student.

Why?"

"Siya ang nagpapa-aral sa akin."

Napaawang ang bibig ko.

"Ano ang kapalit," his forehead creased, "I mean, you're working for her?"

He shook his head to say no.

"Walang kapalit... The only pay she wants is to see me reaching for my dreams."

Tumango ako. Ate Jassy and Kuya Nehemiah are the most genuine and purest person I know, lalo na si Ate Jassy. She might have a strong personality but I know she's fragile inside. I admire her a lot. She's so strong for fighting all the storms alone.

I also admire their love story. They have the strongest relationship because they made Him the center of their relationship.

I just wish I can have a man like Kuya Nehemiah who waited for so long.

I insisted that I'll pay for my food but he was too persistent to pay for it!

"You should let me pay!" I frowned.

"Nakabayad na ako, Solace," tumawa siya.

I crossed my arms on my chest, "That's because you didn't let me!"

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Next time, I'll pay for our food!" sabi ko.

He pursed his lips, "There will be next time?"

"Uhm, ano... B-baka lang naman."

I closed my eyes in embarrassment! It sounds like I'm expecting more!

"There should be next," may multong ngiti pa rin sa mga labi n'ya, "There will be," he said with conviction.

Hindi na ako nakasagot. I still felt the embarrassment on my system.

"What time is your first class?" he asked.

"7:30 pa."

He glanced at his watch.
