Baby daddy

Y/N POV +18

"Okay do you want to take your fruit roll ups?" I asked my four year old daughter,

"Yes!" She said,I chuckled before opening the cabinet and grabbing the mini box full of fruit roll ups.I placed two in her bag,

"Okay what else?" I asked her,she did a thinking face making me smile. "You think your daddy has snacks for you over there?"

"Yeah he always has goldfish!" She said with her pretty smile,I giggled

"Aw your favorite,but I have that here"

"Yeah but he has ice cream and sometimes he cooks" she told me,I nodded being impressed.

"Okay well make sure you don't eat everything alright?" I demanded,she nodded "okay" I said before getting her off the counter and putting her on the ground on her feet.

"Go grab one toy that you wanna bring to daddy's house okay?" I said,she nodded before running upstairs.

I sometimes hated the weekends because I send Vanessa to her dad's house,luckily her dad and I are on good terms so there isn't bad blood.Sometimes it's awkward seeing each other,

Unfortunately I gotten pregnant with Vanessa at seventeen,my parents were livid that I wasn't responsible but they didn't tell me to abort her or anything.

The father of Vanessa was shocked but he stepped up and said he was responsible and he didn't want to be those typical teenage dads who leaves the mom,our relationship was toxic and we couldn't just communicate.

I heard nessa come back down the stairs with her favorite doll that I got her,I smiled before hearing knocks on the door.

I sighed before walking out the kitchen into the living room then onto the front door,I unlocked the locks then pulled it open.

"Daddy!" Nessa shouted as she sprinted to her dad causing her dad to have the biggest smile.

"Mi princesa! You missed me didn't you?" He said as he picked her up,he kissed her cheek before looking back at me. "Hey" he said with a light smile

"Hey Miguel" I said with a weak smile,

"How's working going?" He asked

"It's going good,I got promoted as a supervisor" I told him,he chuckled

"Oh that's great! You still got it" he said referring to me always working hard and getting bigger levels

"Always do,how's work for you?"

"Same old,hey um..my mom and dad are doing a barbecue and they invited you" he said

"Are you sure they didn't invite me just because I'm nessa's mom and they don't want issues?" He laughed

"No,they still have love for you" he said,I nodded

"Okay well,can I think about it?" I asked,he smirked

"Of course" he said,I walked over to the couch and grabbed nessa's bag before walking back to miguel.

"Here,she packed snacks and her favorite toy" I told him,he grabbed it with his hand that wasn't occupied while the other held our child.

"Oh cool,I love how you do her hair" he said,I chuckled

"Yeah I try my best,she's mixed with our hair together" I told him as I caressed nessa's cheek as she smiled at me,he smiled at me

"Well I better get going,hopefully I see you at the barbecue" he said,I nodded before babying and kissing nessa goodbye getting miguel to watch us.

"Bye mommy" she said waving as miguel walked away with her,

"Bye baby! I love you" I said

"I love you too!" She shouted as she got already far from the door,I giggled to myself before blowing her a kiss.

I closed the door taking a deep breath,I walked upstairs and walked into my room that was shared with nessa.

I flopped on my bed that I share with nessa since nessa doesn't like sleeping in her crib,she loves sleeping with me cause she feels safe near mommy.

TIME SKIP

I finished getting ready for the barbecue,I decided to go for nessa and maybe for miguel.I put on a mini black dress that was for the summer that hugged me perfectly,I put cute designed flip flops on.

Thankfully I gotten my toes done,I put my light jewelry cause I didn't want to look like a bum.I grabbed my black purse filled stuff for ness and I just in case if anything happens.

I put it in my inner arm before leaving the house,I walked down the steps and started leaving the small area of the houses that were connected together.I walked to the front and got into my car,

Miguel didn't live far and I always had a good bond with his mom wendy,his dad I barely saw him since he's always at work.

I was tapping on the steering wheel nervous to see them again,to be in that house again.I slowly pulled up to the front as I heard the music in the back,I chuckled to myself before getting out.

I locked the car as I walked into the entry of the backyard,I saw miguel talking to his dad who was on the grill.

Wendy was playing with nessa who was on her lap,nessa then looked at her dad then around the area as her eyes landed on me.

She gasps "mommy!" As she tried to get out Wendy's grip and sprinted over to me,Miguel quickly turned his head.

I gasped picking nessa up, "ay my baby! Hi!" I said kissing her chubby cheeks.Miguel walked over to me with a light smile

"You came!" He said opening one of his arms,he wanted a hug? I didn't want to be rude so I gave him a side hug. "Mami,y/n is here"

Wendy got up with a smile and walked over to me, "hey y/n-oh! How beautiful you look,how you been?" She asked

"I'm good! How are you-

"Y/n got promoted as a supervisor" Miguel said,wendy gasp as Miguel's dad head quickly turned

"That's great!" He said

"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you!" She said hugging me,I giggled hugging her back

We pulled away before I put nessa down to go and play, "why don't I get you a drink?" Wendy said

"Oh thank you" I said as she winked at me before going inside the house.

"Sorry that I blurt out your business,it's just..I'm proud of you" he said,I chuckled

"That's fine,don't worry about it" I said walking to a seat and putting my purse to the seat next to mine,I looked back at Miguel who looked so handsome.

He wore a plain white t-shirt in his light jeans with his hair up in a messy bun, "so what else is new?" He asked sitting across from me

"Nothing really,do you know nessa can spell her name now?" I asked with a smile

"Oh yeah! She showed me,did you teach her that?" He asked

"No,I don't know how she was able to do it"

"Yeah I know,I taught her that" he said,

"Really?"

"Yeah we was just drawing suns and I decided to teach her how to spell her name" he explained,I chuckled.It went quite for a while so I decided to look around before he spoke again.

"So..you seeing anyone?" He asked,i looked back at him

"Uh no,I just been focused on nessa and work" I told him,he slowly nodded before licking his lips

"Oh cause nessa said that you brought a guy over last week" he said straightening his face as my eyes widen

I'm thinking about having a new miguel book in my drafts so I can work on it slowly but I don't know what type,suggestions?
