Mama

Typical Sunday,which means it's time to get groceries for my daughter and I.I hate waking up early but if I want to eat and if I want my little girl to eat she obviously needs food

Especially since she gets cranky when she's hungry like her mom,she's like her mom in everything especially the looks thank god.

"Okay honey,you're all dressed.You look so beautiful" I baby her,she smiled along with her eyes which I adored

"Toy" she mumbled,I chuckled

"You want to get a new toy? Okay if you behave,mama will buy you a new toy" I tell her

She gasped,letting her pretty big eyes open.My natural mom instinct was to copy her,she giggled as we both gently placed our foreheads on another

"Okay come on"

TIME SKIP

I placed Lina in the baby seat of the cart,Lina doesn't argue or resist as long mama is there,She's an angel.

I readjusted my purse over my shoulder to stop it from falling as I looked around while pushing the cart,Lina will observe or she will look at me with a smile

I picked up some snacks for Lina that she enjoys munching on along with some stuff for me

"Mama" Lina says while pointing to the juices,I smiled at her before grabbing them and placing it in the cart.

I continued walking around,walking into the fruit section.Lina and I love fruit,she has a thing for watermelon

I grabbed each fruit I needed one by one and squeezed gently to see if it was right,a thing my own mother taught me.

I reached to grab a mango when I heard Lina begin to giggle out of nowhere,i looked over my shoulder seeing her stare at something

I turn to see a guy smiling at her,Lina was giggling because she was nervous.I don't blame her,he's good looking

The guy noticed,he lightly smiled at me.I couldn't help but do the same

I tried to focus on the fruit but knowing a handsome guy is staring makes me even forget how to stand

"I wasn't being weird or anything" I heard,I glance seeing him who mysteriously got closer

"Oh no it's okay" I said now wanting to slap myself

"Is she yours or little sister?"

"She's mine" I said now placing a hand on my hip,he observed me up and down.

Splash..

"Well she's adorable and she looks exactly like you" he says with a smirk,I laughed

"Yeah she gets that a lot,uh do you have one?" I ask,what the shit kind of question is that?

He raised his eyebrows along with a scoff "I wish but no"

"Mama" Lina called,I looked over seeing her have a orange in her hands

"Oh Lina,put it down babe" I said not wanting her to touch anything

"Lina? Cute name,did your husband name her that?" He says

I know he's asking that to see if the father is in the picture,smooth boy

"No I'm not married or anything,I'm a single mom" I say crossing my arms against my chest,he hummed "what?"

"Nothing,I'm Miguel by the way"

"I'm y/n" he reached his hand out,I placed mine in his for a handshake

"Can I take you and your daughter out to eat?" He asks

My heart skipped,a man asking me and my daughter out? That's a first

Usually guys run the other way when they find out I'm a mom or if I'm all about my daughter first,my daughter is my life and I'm gonna spoil her just like how my mom did me.

"Oh that's nice but-

"Please i would love to take you girls out,it's not a problem-can I take you out Lina?" He asks her

She giggled before nodding "please" she says,miguel looks back at me

"Please" he repeated,i sighed while watching Lina admire miguel

"Okay" I say,his eyes lit up "you're not trying to be a step daddy are you?"

He smirked "only if you allow me to" he whispered,I squint my eyes at him "so where would you like to go?"

TIME SKIP

I watch Lina chew on her nuggets with a smile

I really made my baby so beautiful,her chubby cheeks with big eyes and a cute button nose

her dad would've hated the way she looks like me and not him but he can fuck himself

"Hey mama,you need to eat" miguel spoke

"Mama?" I question

"What? Lina calls you it" he says,I shook my head while laughing

"That's because I am her mama"

"So then I call you mami" he said as he raised his eyebrows,i bit my tongue

Lina enjoyed being around miguel,she gets shy and nervous around him though.I think she has the same taste in men like her mama

"How about no" I say

"That's fine" he said with a smug look,he went back to eating.I begin eating my chicken alfredo

"Mama,try?" Lina says while pointing at Miguel's plate,my eyes widen

"You wanna try?" She nods,this was perfect for her because she can start eating bigger foods but I don't know if miguel would want to share

"Here" he says picking up a small amount on his fork,he has his other hand under to make sure nothing falls.

He gently feeds her as she slowly chews,i wait for her reaction to see if she likes it or not.her eyes slowly widen before looking over at me while nodding repeatedly

"Aw you like it!" I squeal before kissing her forehead,I gazed over at miguel "thank you"

"Anytime" he smiles "um..I don't want this to come out weird or anything but I would love to spend more time with you and your daughter"

"Really?" I say with a side smile

"Yeah if it's okay with you,I mean you're great and I really would like to spend time with Lina"

I never met a guy so passionate about my daughter,I rarely ever get that

"Okay I'll give you number" I say,he smiled

"Yeah I'll love that" he says pulling his phone out his pocket before handing it to me..

I'm getting a book idea from this imagine but I'm gonna need to relax even though it sounds good asf
