Y/N POV

I decided to start hitting the gym since I needed to distract my mind and to work on my body,I usually go every other day alone and sometimes I see a friend there that I know from school but she barely comes.

Going to the gym means you can also have a gym crush,I have one and he's so attractive.Everytime I'm here he's here,he comes alone since I don't see him talk to anyone or walk in with anyone,

He either wears a tank top or a normal t-shirt,there's times where he doesn't have a shirt on at all.He obviously doesn't pay me any mind and I don't blame him,

He just seems like the one to be focus on working out,I try to do the same to not look like a weirdo.I walked in the gym like normal,it wasn't packed honestly but there was a good amount of people

I looked around to see if he was here and I didn't see him in sight so I just figured he didn't come today,I walked to a corner where nobody was around so I can stretch and warm up so I don't pull a muscle.

I watched myself in the mirror doing so,that's when I saw my gym crush walk out the corner drinking a bottle of water.my heart skipped a beat seeing him,he was wearing a black tank top and a red hat on forwards,

He started stretching his arms while also looking at himself in the mirror,I sighed while walking to a nearby machine to work on my legs.

I sat down and started lifting up the weight on my legs,I was used to it but I tried my best to lift.I looked up to look at him and he was doing biceps,I smirked before looking back down at my legs

TIME SKIP

I placed the weight on my shoulders to do squats,the popular one that all women do.I've been challenging myself to do more weights,even though I get nervous doing it in-front of people I still manage to do it

I bend down doing one squat and exhaling,I was watching myself through the mirror as usual.I focused on my posture and the way I was doing it that I didn't even know that my gym crush was watching me through the mirror

I looked over and noticed him,he stood there while breathing heavily since he finished a workout as his eyes were drawn to me through the mirror.

I figured he was looking at my ass like a basic guy but he was actually looking into my eyes,I tried not to fuck up so I can be continue to squat.

He was nodding every time I squat signaling that he was impressed and encouraging me,he lightly smiled while I did the same.

He continued to stare while moving to another machine,I felt chills go up my arm and legs.I was in biker shorts and a normal long t-shirt with no sleeves so i easily felt it.

He then looked away focusing on his workout as I did the same,I then stopped squatting before backing up and putting the bar back in its place.

I placed my hands on my hips while heavily breathing,I threw my head back trying give myself a break.

"Need some water?" I heard causing me to look down,it was him.My breath hitched,he was literally right in-front of me talking to me.

I was speechless, "sorry it's just..I don't see anything near you besides a towel so I thought you might've need water" he said while handing out his water bottle

"Oh yeah,thanks" I said while taking it from his hand, "I'll do a water fall" I twisted and took off the cap from the bottle

"No it's okay,you don't have to..I'll just wipe it off unless you got something" he joked with a smile,I giggled

"No I'm clean" I said making him nod,I took a sip of his cold water loving the temperature.After,I handed it back to them

He took it from my hand and placed his lips on them taking a sip,he didn't wipe it..he kept his eyes on me while drinking before putting the cap back on.

"You a gym rat?" He asked

"Not really but I like to come here when I can" I said,he nodded "are you?"

"Kinda yeah,"

"Oh broken heart?" I joked making him laugh,

"Nah,no broken heart" he said looking down at his legs,i hummed

"You're the heart breaker?" I said with a smirk,he shook his head before lifting his head up

"I'm a lover actually but no,I just enjoy the gym" he said,I slowly nodded believing him "I guess I'll see you around?"

"Yeah sure" I smiled,he nodded before walking away.He turned his head and looked back at me with a smirk,

THE NEXT DAY

I walked into the gym as usual and signed in,I walked to my usual spot to warm up.I placed my little bag down that had my stuff before stretching out,

I looked up in the mirror to see him already working out on a machine,he hadn't notice me yet cause how focus he was or he's just zoned out.

He kept breathing in and out while I went to work out for my back,I pull down the bar slowly so I can feel the tense feeling and kept doing that for a few more sets.

I looked over at him seeing him breathe heavily before taking his shirt off then putting his hat back on,I smirked before focusing back on my workout.

After,I went back to the bar to do squats,I placed the bar behind my neck and on my shoulders while adjusting where my feet should be.

I started squatting while watching myself,I look over seeing him staring at me with a smirk.He noticed that he was caught so he shot me a wink that caused my heart to flutter on how natural it was,

A few more squats in,I see him walking over with his shirt in his hand.He knew exactly what he was doing with not putting his shirt on,

"I see you have a drink with you this time" he spoke,I chuckled

"Yeah my protein shake" I said,he smiled while nodding as I stopped and placed the bar in its place.

"That's good-that's good,I didn't get your name" he said,I chuckled

"I'm y/n,you?"

"Miguel" he said, "I've seen you checking me out for a while" my heart dropped

"Oh well,that's embarrassing" I nervously laughed,he giggled while shaking his head

"Nah i actually think it's cute,I've noticed you too since you started coming here and I don't know,I guess I just been nervous to come up to you"

"Wait really?" I smiled as he nodded,

"Do you mind if I can get your number? I could pick you up and we can come here together..leave together?" He said,my cheeks felt hot

"Yeah-yeah of course" I said,he pulled out his phone from his grey sweats and passed me his phone.I placed my number in before handed it back to him,

"Let me know when you're ready to leave? I'll drop you off" he spoke,I nodded with a smile "or when you need a spotter,I got you"

"Yeah,you too" I said,

"I would hug you but we're sweaty so" he laughed,I smiled at him.He wanted to hug? How sweet,He smirked before pecking my cheek "that's what you get..for now"
