Song suggested by TopModelCollectorY2K from the last book. The song is called Such Horrible Things by Creature Feature
Lila going through most of the bad things she did in her childhood.
I liked this song, it gave off a Halloween vibe and reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas. That's like my top Halloween/Christmas movie besides The Polar Express
Sit back now
Let me tell you a tale
Where justice does not prevail
About an Ill-fated life
So very full of strife
Where two wrongs do not make a right
Lila sat on the couch at home, annoyed about how the day went. Her mother stepped out for a moment, after pausing her yelling to go cool down. Now that she knew Ladybug wasn't failing at her job, she wanted to spare the heroine from visiting their home.
If you haven't guessed by now, Lila's lies had been exposed. And in such a random way too.
Marinette was on her way to school, talking to that Marc boy from another class. While doing so, Jagged Stone's manager, Penny, was trying to catch up to the girl. Apparently, they had a meeting before school about a new commission the singer wanted.
Alya, being the reporter she was trying to be, ran up with her phone recording and asked Penny a bunch of questions. She also sprang up when she thing Jagged would like to meet Lila.
Penny, of course, knew what this was about because of Marinette. She mentioned how a girl was lying to get into the bug leagues, and Penny herself had even seen the lies going around. It wasn't a large problem then, but it could get more popularity and ruin Jagged's career that he sang a song to a young girl he doesn't even know. Penny never got around to tracking down the liar and suing for defamation, but thanks to Alya's loose lips, she saved herself a bunch of time.
Penny denied Jagged knowing anybody named Lila, and asked if Alya would stop spreading lies on her channel. Alya defended herself saying it wasn't a lie, and showed Penny all of the things Lila had said. Penny looked to Lila, who was hiding away in the background. She said nothing as she walked up, pulled out a bunch of papers from her bag, and said she was being sued. She also handed Alya a similar stack, and left. Marinette and Marc were to dumbstruck to even realize what happened. They rushed into school, mumbling that they would be late.
After that, Alya started looking into Lila's claims. When she found nothing, she started screaming at Lila for lying to her and discrediting her blog. Lila fired back that all she had to do was check her facts like a basic reporter and this could have all been avoided. Alya, sharing her father's temper, got mad and struck. Teachers ran out a few minutes later to see the girls fighting. Somehow, Lila messed up Alya more than she did. Lila was sent to the principal's office with only a few scratches and a black eye. Alya had bloody scratches all over her and a bloody nose.
Lila's mother was furious that her daughter was caught lying again (yes, this has happened before and it was part of the reason why they moved), and was grounding her daughter indefinitely. Lila was expelled from the school for lying to staff, bullying and harassing a student, faking doctors notes, etc. The police could even get involved because Lila technically committed truancy since her absences were unexcused.
Lila's mother was livid and nearly ripped her daughter's ear off dragging her to the car. She was cursing in Italian as they drove to the apartment. Once they got there, she demanded Lila to sit down while she took a breath in the hallway.
