Lila likes to lie to bring herself up, and occasionally bring others down if they stay in her way. But even she has boundaries.

Or, Alya doesn't think Marc is good enough for Nathaniel, and Lila wonders why she thinks Nath and Alix are a better match. Marinette will make her regret trying to hurt her cousin.

Alya huffed as she blew a hair out of her face while sitting in her jail cell. This situation was not fair at all. This shouldn't have even happened!

But to understand what even happened, we have to go back a month.

June, or as others know it as, Pride Month. The school was also on break, so many students were out and about.

Alya of course was hanging out with Lila at a boba place. She was talking to her about all the ships and drama on people in the class. Totally not because Lila asked her for tea involving other people. Absolutely not.

"What about Nathaniel?" Lila asked. "You haven't mentioned him as much." Alya froze.

"Well...he's actually bi, which is fine!" Alya quickly added in. "He has a boyfriend, actually. That Marc boy." Lila nodded and raised her eyebrow.

"Okay...so what's with that reaction? Do you not like him or something?" Alya hesitated.

"I just don't think he is a proper match for Nath. Sure, they are both super quiet, mind their own, and benefit each other, but are they really going to work out as friends? I just think maybe Nathaniel would be happier with someone else, that's all." Lila didn't even attempt to hide her shock.

She's seen Nathaniel and that Marc boy around. Now, if we are being honest, Lila doesn't have an opinion on Marc. He is the cousin to her enemy, but he doesn't seem that bad. And Lila doesn't care about it because he keeps Nathaniel off her tail. 

So if anything, Lila thinks those two dating is the best option for everyone.

"I don't know, they seem pretty content with each other." Lila sipped her drink. "Who do you think would be better than him?"

Alya smiled. "Alix! Or you!" Lila nearly choked.

"Alix? Me? Of all people? Why?"

"They have been friends and have known each other longer! Plus their first meeting wasn't as horrible as Marc's with Nath. Besides, you have been trying to talk to Nathaniel for awhile now. I've seen you shyly approach him." Alya squealed and started typing on her phone. "This is perfect!"

"No it isn't." Lila spoke up. She couldn't believe she was doing this but... "This is wrong." 

Alya looked up at her, feeling shocked and betrayed. "How is it wrong?"

Lila wasn't sure. As much as she loved sabotage others, she didn't have a good feeling about this one. "One, I don't like him like that. Two, I'm almost certain that Alix is taken or doesn't like him like that either. Three, if you do this, they are going to be mad at you and possibly turn into an akuma and search for you. Do you not see any problem with this?" Alya shrugged.

"Trust me, it's going to be worth it when those two get together! We just have to be careful." Lila was taken aback.

"We? Who's we? Who says I'm getting involved in this?"

"Well since I told you the plan, you have to be involved, duh! Plus, this works better with multiple people instead of one."

"Well I'm not helping!"
