The Bet

The class knows the identities of each other after Hero's Day (besides Ladybug and Cat Noir's), so they start a betting pool to see who will get their miraculous back first

Alix is confident she will get hers first until a new rabbit hero appears and Lila lies about how she helped choose him because the old one was not good enough anymore

Years later all heroes (including retired ones) come together to defeat Hawkmoth, exposing all identities.

Lila was also found out to be aiding Hawkmoth.

Adrien Sugar since I'm giving him a break, Chloe Sugar, Class Salt, etc.

It was a nice, sunny day in Paris on Monday. The sky was clear, the birds were singing, and everyone was out and about. It was the perfect day. But of course, even on the best days can there be trouble.

And it all started in a classroom.

Marinette was walking into the room with Adrien when they overheard cheers and laughter. "What do you think is going on this time?" Adrien asked.

"Alya probably finished editing another one of Lila's interviews and is showing it to the class." Marinette rolled her eyes and continued walking. But instead, they walked in on something different.

A few classmates were huddled around Alya's desk, each putting cash into a box. If Marinette didn't know any better, she would have thought Alya was collecting cash for one of Lila's fake charities. But apparently, Lila wasn't even in the room.

"What are you guys doing?" Adrien asked. A few students jumped, not noticing them enter the room.

Rose piped up, "We're placing bets!"

Marinette raised her eyebrow. "Bets? On what?"

"On...secret stuff." Kim said. Marinette hummed and went to her seat in the back, where Chloe was waiting.

Yes. Chloe Bourgeois, the mayor's daughter, bully, all those titles, etc. She became Marinette's friend after Sabrina left her for Lila's Posse. 

She also stuck around to get the inside details the class doesn't care to hide from her. They just see her as a powerless bully now. "They are betting on who will get their miraculous first." The bee filled her in. "They seem awfully confident in the topic, too."

Marinette sat down, confused. "Why would they bet on it?"

"Because they wanted something to do. Your favorite spy put in a wager as well, betting he would be first." Marinette looked to Nino, who secretly winked up at her. "He bet 50 euros."

"That's too much!"

"Yeah, but he knows you will go to him first since most of the others here are now retired. Only a few who would actually get them back, right? Nino is the only one who is certain that put a bet on it to play along, so he's going to win." Chloe nudged Marinette. "Besides, wouldn't you want to help him out? Imagine what he could do with all that free money." Marinette chuckled as Nathaniel, Juleka, and Mylene came in. Right on cue, the liar waltzed in with a coffee, ready to start her day of lies. But instead of paying attention to her, the class was more focused on the bet.

Lila did not take that well. She believed Marinette did something and came up with a lie that Marinette harassed her, which led to the Alya the Guard Dog trying to start something. The only reason she stopped was because Adrien came in and Lila immediately attached to him.

Adrien sent Marinette a look, asking for help. She just smirked and gave him a look back "You decided to keep letting her mess with you, that's your role. Now stick with it." Adrien rolled his eyes but didn't say anything.
