Bridezilla

A newlywed wife gets akumatized at her wedding because her husband pulled a prank on her and ruined it. She goes around tormenting others who are just as bad and it helps Marinette realize that you don't have to forgive everyone who wrongs you. 

Especially with the Lila situation.

I got this idea based off a reddit story I listened to. Wife knew husband was going to pull a prank at their wedding, and he still did it even tho he said he wouldn't. He smashed her face in the cake and she stormed off crying. I think she divorced, which as she should.

Rose Laurent was a nervous wreck to say the least. It was her wedding day, and she knew something was going to happen. She felt it in her gut.

You see, while her and her soon-to-be planned the wedding, his friend Liam showed him videos of the husband smashing the wife's face into the cake. Rose didn't find it funny, but her lover Elliot acknowledged it and moved on.

But Rose knew the look well on his face. He was thinking about the idea, even if he wasn't talking about it. Rose made sure to tell him several times that she didn't want that at their wedding, since it was more humiliating than amusing. He hummed and said he wouldn't, but she knew that wasn't how it was going to go.

So here she was, sitting in the back of the building with her bridesmaids stressing about everything. Her friends tried to help with distracting her with compliments about the scenery. The theme was sort of fairy tale and pastel colors, with greens, pinks, whites, and hints of yellows and gold. Rose loved nature and wanted to embrace it at her dream wedding, but she didn't feel so sure about this.

"It's going to be fine, Rose." Her friend Eloise said, taking her hand. "He has no reason to disrespect you before you get married."

"But what if I'm making a mistake? Something just doesn't feel right." Rose looked down. Eloise gave her a hug.

"Deep breaths. I know this is scary. But soon you will look back and say this wasn't as bad as you hoped. Besides," Eloise looked around and whispered. "You could always file for divorce if you aren't happy. No one would blame you."

Rose took in the idea. Divorcing did sound...relieving for some reason. Maybe it was because of Elliot's attitude lately. But Rose can't tell Eloise that.

Especially since her and Elliot were siblings. He was older than her and acted different around his sister. If Rose told her what she noticed, she would ruin their relationship for sure.

It wasn't like Elliot was cheating or anything, but he seemed...distant. Like he was in another world. Rose confronted him on it once and he passed it off as wedding jitters. They agreed that if there was any problem, they would postpone it. It's not fair to get married when the other isn't ready.

Rose took a breath and smiled. "Ellie, thank you for being here today. Really, it means alot to me." Her friend smiled and hugged her.

"They are ready for you." Someone said, opening the door. Eloise squealed and took Rose's hands in her own.

"Positive thoughts." Her best friend said. Rose smiled and let her friend lead her to the door.

Positive thoughts weren't going to keep away what happened later.

The wedding was going so smoothly so far, Rose almost forgot why she was so worried to begin with. But once the cake was going to be cut, she remembered why.
