Chris, Ella, and Etta are at Alya's apartment being babysat by Lila, but they don't like her one bit. and would rather have Marinette. So how does a child get what they want?
By deceiving the sitter of course!
Lila sighed as she laid on the couch of Alya's apartment, stuck listening to the annoying kids show blaring on the television. It was a little past 5pm, a time where Lila would have loved to rather be at home minding her own business in her own space rather than watching three children she barely knew. But this was all for the money.
You see, Alya and her family had plans that night. Her older sister Nora had a wrestling match that night and her parents wanted to attend, and Alya had a date night with Nino. Sadly, they couldn't come up with any suggestions for the youngest girls, and Alya couldn't get a hold of Marinette to babysit. The girl would have said no anyways since her and Alya broke off their friendship a few weeks ago. With no other choice, Alya asked Lila and offered to pay her $50. Lila, wanting more money, agreed and thought this would be easy.
She should have asked for more money if she knew the kids barely got along with each other for more than ten minutes. One moment they can be having fun and the next they will be in a heated argument. It was too much! Lila just gave up on trying to negotiate and turned on the tv and let them watch whatever they wanted.
The children however, were having a different perspective on the babysitter. "Who even is she?" Chris whispered to the girls.
"That's Lila." Ella said.
"Alya's new best friend." Etta finished. Chris raised an eyebrow, confused.
"What about that Marinette girl? Isn't she Alya's best friend?" The girls turned sad and made pouty faces.
"They just stopped talking one day."
"Alya said they had a fight and didn't want to talk about it. "
"Any time we mention her name she gets mad at us." An idea formed in Chris's head.
"Well, why don't we just ask her for ourselves? You guys know where she lives right?" The girls nodded. "Well then, let's get out of here!"
"But what about Lila?" Ella asked. The kids looked at her, the girl not even paying them any mind.
"I have an idea."
Lila didn't even know how, but the kids convinced her to let them go out for ice cream. She agreed, wanting to get out into the fresh air. The sun was just starting to set anyways, meaning her time was starting to finish up. As Lila found a spot for them to get the dessert, she found them no longer by her side. She started searching for them, but couldn't see them in the crowd. Lila raced off back towards the house, not noticing the children going the opposite direction.

"Alright, we lost her. Now what?" Etta asked Chris.
"Well, you guys said you knew the way." Chris gestured to the air around them. "So lead the way!"
"Well...about that..." Etta started.
"We know where they live of course, because it's the most popular bakery in town!" Ella said.
"But we don't know the exact direction..." Etta finished. Chris stared at the girls dumbfounded. He groaned.
"Of course you guys don't know. Why do girls have to be this stupid?" Both girls took offense to that when they spotted a familiar bluenette.
"Marinette!" They yelled as they rain towards her. The girl turned and was immediately tackled to the ground. The boy next to her chuckled and helped her up.
