Diablo (Song Suggestion)

Another song suggestion by TopModelCollectorY2K from the last book. The song is called Diablo by Simon Curtis

It's everyone's perspective of who was wronged by Lila and their inner desires towards the liar.

I kind of like the song, it gives a little bit of retro vibes 

The students of Francis Dupont couldn't believe what just happened. The new school sweetheart Lila Rossi was just exposed and arrested for being a pathological liar, manipulator, and more. The only ones who weren't surprised were Marinette and her friend group, who knew from the beginning that something was up with her. She just seemed too good to be true.

Alya was among the first to go to Marinette and try to apologize, but Marinette wouldn't let her. She put up with her excuses and betrayal long enough that she didn't even want to associate with Alya anymore. All she said was "Save it, Césaire." And walked away. Alya kept calling after her, but she was ignored. Just like she did to Marinette when she abandoned her.

Adrien tried to apologize too, tried to claim that he was never with Lila. But to Marinette, he was. True, he didn't agree to what she was doing, but he left Marinette out to dry when she needed him and his support to take Lila down. She needed him as backup when the class started rallying against her, and all he did was hide away in his little bubble and pretended a problem didn't exist. That hurt too much, and Marinette certainly wasn't going to let him back in that easily, if even at all.

The rest of the people who mistreated Marinette had the same responses as well. Being ignored, glared at by her new friends, or just no reaction whatsoever. Their true colors were revealed the moment the liar came around, and Marinette didn't want those negative people in her life. No wonder they got akumatized so much.

A few more weeks went by and the others still weren't over the Lila situation. Marinette still refused to talk to anyone who was on Lila's side, which hurt since like half the class was. The only good ones were Nathaniel, Nino, Chloe, Sabrina, Juleka, Mylene, and Ivan. They all saw Lila for who she really was and noticed that she was trying to isolate Marinette. They apologized and proved their loyalty, something that was now more sacred than ever.

Alya was starting to get fed up with how Marinette was acting. Okay, she got it! She made a mistake, trusted the wrong person, and hurt their friendship. But friendships can be rebuilt right?

But no matter how many times she tried, Marinette would not give her the time of day. Unlike Alya, Adrien tried once more after rejection and just decided to give the bluenette space, which she somewhat appreciated. Césaire however, was starting to become a nuisance. She couldn't just put Lila on this pedestal, then when things go wrong crawl back like nothing even happened! That's not how friendship works.

And that's not even the most annoying part.

See, Lila's mother thought it would be a good idea as punishment to continue having Lila go to her classes while awaiting her trials. In person. With a guard and everything. She even had an ankle bracelet, which did not help her embarrassing situation. Including all of that, she had to face getting stared down, ridiculed, harassed, spat on, and cursed out every second of every day by her peers, even the ones she hadn't even done anything to yet! It was more annoying to her that in Bustier's class, well, ex-Bustier's class, she was being blamed for everything. All she did was tell lies, they didn't have to believe them! She even had to sit next to Alya, who always had a sneer on her face and looked ready to jump her at any second. Lila just rolled her eyes and sat there, not even bothering to take notes.
