Inspired by a random reddit story I listened to while playing Minecraft and procrastinating summer stuff

A birthday child suffers from the result of her relatives' entitlement and gets akumatized

I posted the link at the top but if it doesn't work, heres the title (very long so mentally prepare)

"At My Daughter's 5th Birthday Party, They Made My Niece Cut The Cake While My Daughter Stood Sobbing" - Teddy Reddit Stories

I have a low attention span so I call my friends while I do stuff sometimes, and if they don't pick up I put on a reddit story at like 1.5 or 2x speed, depends on the voice

And this just sounded like an interesting concept (I love entitled stories)

Enjoy!

Mary Allard was hurriedly running around the apartment, making sure her daughter's party decorations were all ready to go. Today is her child's 5th birthday, and she wanted to make sure it was extra special.

Her baby girl, Olivia, loved Disney and animated movies and made a list of what parties she wanted with what movie theme. This year, since she loved the color yellow, wanted a Beauty and the Beast themed party. Mary asked just to be sure if she was sure on Belle over Cinderella, since she loved both and has frequently pointed out that Cinderella's dress brought more attention since she was unexpected in the movie. But her child just laughed.

"I wanna do Cindy dress when I'm older, mama!" Olivia giggled one day a couple of months prior. "That way the dress is even bigger!"

"Oh?" Mary laughed at her child's enthusiasm, looking down at the drawing she was doing of her party plans. She looked to the wall of future party plans as well, noting the other drawings and doodles. "Is that before or after the fairies?"

"Hmm, not sure." Olivia put down her crayon and held up her drawing. "But this is what I want this year, mama. If that's okay." Mary smiled and took in the drawing. It was a lot of course, for a child's imaginative birthday plans, but the mother was sure she could turn her daughter's dream into a reality.

Of course, it would be harder since she was mostly alone. Olivia's father was technically in the picture, but he worked an international job that kept him busy and traveling constantly. But he would always call whenever he got to the hotel room and had plenty of pictures to show the family when he returned.

He also made sure to bring gifts for both of them every time, which Olivia always appreciated. She enjoyed the idea that her papa never forgot about her or her mama. But she did wish he would be here for her birthday, the stupid company decided to give him a job to do even after he said he couldn't be there that day. He left a few days ago to see what he could do about the situation, but there might not have been much he could do.

But to show his support, he promised to pay most of the expenses for the party as well as promised to call in when the party started, especially when the cake cutting would happen.

Luckily enough, Mary was strong and had great friends. They helped her find a cake decorator and materials for designs she needed to turn their apartment into a ballroom for the night, as well as provided her with a designer who could design a custom dress for her daughter! She paid the girl upfront as well as extra, but the girl insisted she didn't need that much. She finished the dress and even sent her out with some pastries from her parents' bakery, how nice. Now the only thing left to do was to wait for guests.

Olivia was generally well-liked in her classes and in their apartment complex. Some of the children in her classes also lived throughout the building and immediately accepted invitations to her party. So Mary made sure to have plenty of food for all of the adults and extra for the children.
