Lila is able to get the class to push Marinette out of being class rep and takes over instead. Who could've predicted things would end like this?

I'm also basing this off a salt fic I read on AO3 (I occasionally forget I actually have an account there oopsies) called Our Other Ladybug by I_could_not_think_of_anything_cool, you guys should read it when you have the time I was enjoying it!

I like to lurk on Alya Salt as well as Class Salt on there from time to time

Anyways lemme quit yapping and get to writing

Lila smirked as the class got settled for Marinette's arrival. The liar was successfully able to convince the class that Marinette is not fit enough for the class representative role anymore and it should be passed to someone else. Of course, the class voted for Lila and all her connections. Ms. Bustier seemed to have no problem with this change, noting that Lila seemed to have a better attitude than her old star pupil lately. Adrien stayed quiet on the change, still in disbelief that things went this far.

Marinette walked into the room, biting back from yawning when she stopped dead in her tracks and noticed everyone looking at her. That's when Lila stepped forward, looking as innocent as ever.

"Marinette, don't take this the wrong way, but..." Lila looked down, pretending to look shy.

"We want Lila as our class rep now instead of you!" Alya butted in, standing up. "You've been so rude lately and we've had it! If you don't want to be around us anymore then just say that! Not taking it out on Lila and abandoning us when we need you!"

The bluenette couldn't help but scoff. "Abandon you? Alya, you literally would drop your siblings off randomly at my place, not even checking beforehand that I was home! You need a real babysitter, not someone you want to call on like a dog but treat like trash." Alya would've jumped over the bench if it wasn't for Nino holding her back.

"Let's not say anything we might regret-" Adrien started but was cut off by Lila's fake crying.

"I'm sorry! I never should've said anything."

"No Lila, you're right! She has to go!"

"You're right Lila." Everyone froze as Marinette agreed. "She's right, it should be passed on to someone you actually want to rely on more. From this moment on, I am no longer your class representatives. That means passing all of your problems and concerns onto Lila. Congrats." Marinette started walking towards her seat, then stopped next to Lila and whispered so only she could hear. "I would start preparing now...they tend to use the class rep for their full advantage." Lila rolled her eyes in amusement as Marinette continued towards her seat. How hard could this be?

Very hard apparently.

The first person to come to Lila was none other than Rose herself. She was having difficulty creating a poster for perfume she was sponsoring through Kitty Section, and she wanted an opinion. The idea was a different perfume scent and design for each member, and Rose wanted one that mimicked a pink flower but had a personal touch to it. Lila honestly thought that was cool, and was happy that her first request was an easy one.

Lila that night quickly looked up perfume designs and flowers and quickly sketched up some ideas, making sure to show Rose the next day. She was going to be so thrilled!

The girl actually wasn't. As much as she tried to sugarcoat it, it turned out every sketch Lila did had already been done before. Rose tried to help Lila feel better by suggesting she could combine all the ideas into one, but her mood was already ruined.
