Lila takes after her mother's good personality instead of her father's

She gets random dreams of herself doing bad things, but doesn't recall ever doing them

Good Lila, Protective Marinette, Marc Sugar, Lilanette cuz it's Pride Month

You're broken down and tired
Of living life on the merry-go-round

Lila woke up one Friday morning, tired and drained. Her mother decided that they would be moving to Paris for a new change of scenery, and because her job demanded her to. Being the daughter of a woman who worked at an Italian embassy had its perks, but moving around constantly was not one of them.

Lila did not like moving around too often, since she barely had any friends because of that. It also didn't help that her father wasn't around for her to rant to either.

Ah yes, the best topic when being the new kid is being asked what do her parents do. Do you know how embarrassing it is to say one is working while the other is not around?

Lila debated on lying about it, since it was no one else's business in the first place. But of course, the universe didn't like that option.

And you can't find the fighter
But I see it in you, so we gonna walk it out

Lila had a dream one night a few years ago. It was after her first day in a new school, and she was already asked about what her parents' jobs were like. I mean seriously, no one cares except for the people who work with them, why do people want to know?

Lila lied, seeing no good option. She said her mother was an Italian diplomat and her father was a salesman. The other kids bought it and went on their way. Lila was satisfied that they left her alone so she could go about her day.

But then that night while she was sleeping, she had a dream that she was playing a game with a boy from her school. Interestingly enough, both of them looked younger.

But Younger Lila had a glare behind her smile the entire time. Then suddenly, the boy fell into the water and Lila kept running. And when a friend group came up, Lila lied saying she didn't know where the boy went.

The Italian woke up with a jolt. She didn't remember that happening, in fact that boy moved away a little before she did since his father got a new job.

Lila shook the thought out of her head and laid her head back down. As she turned, she saw a stuffed fox on her desk.

It was the last thing she saw before falling back asleep.

Move mountains
We gonna walk it out
And move mountains

And I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again

The next morning, Lila had a gut feeling that something would happen. She went to school and was confronted by one of the kids in the group, and they said they looked up Lila's parent but did not find them. Instead they found out her mother's real job. Then they asked why she lied.

Now, Lila had two options here. One, she could lie again, or two, she could tell the truth. That she didn't want people in her business and didn't care about the topic.
