The next few days after my altercation with Sebastian were pretty uneventful. I attended all my classes that included herbology, potions, and transfiguration. I ended up trying to distance myself from everyone except for a few people, everyone meaning Poppy. She was honestly the only person I could tolerate with her smoothing voice and understanding that I was just dealing with something internally and didn't pry me for questions.
I ate my scrambled eggs in silence listening to the background noise of chatting students. It was slowly starting to give me a headache.
I turned to the right and saw Poppy and Weasley come to our table and started putting food on their plate.
"Hello Alora, long time no see" Weasley said sitting next to me.
"I just saw you yesterday in Potions Garreth, remember?" I said in a slightly annoyed voice not bothering to look up at him.
"Oh...Yea. Sorry" he said stuffing his face with toast.
"What's got your wand in a knot huh?" Poppy asked giving me a side eye.
I stopped chewing, looked up at her and swallowed slowly.
"Nothing. Sorry." I said wiping my mouth with a napkin and putting my hands in my head. Wanting this damn headache to go away.
"I think we need to get out of here and do something fun. It's been a while since we have gone out and explored a little bit." Poppy said taking a spoonful of yogurt in her mouth.
"You know, I thought you were the one that said she didn't want to get herself in any trouble." I said.
"I said not sneaking out at night with abandoned castles and such. I'm thinking maybe.... some flying?"
"Count me out of it, I suck at flying I'll end up falling to my death." Weasley stated.
"Oh, come on Garreth, you said we could go do something fun yesterday." Poppy said giving him her famous puppy eyes.
"How about we go down to the boathouse and we could swim?" Garreth suggested. Poppy's eyes bugged out of her head, slammed her yogurt down with excitement causing the table to shake and startling me out of my boots.
"That's it! Let's go swimming!" she squealed with excitement. "Let's meet down at the boathouse in 30 minutes tops!" she said before coming over to my side and dragging me along the corridor with her to the common room.
"Poppy slow down!" I yelled running after her as she dragged me down the staircase.
"What, I'm sorry I'm just so excited I have never actually been there to swim before!"
"Poppy, I don't even know how to swim!" I said grabbing her arm.
She stopped to look at me. "Oh, I'm sorry Alora I didn't even think about that. Well why don't you just come, and you can hang out and put your feet in." she said.
"Poppy I-..."
I looked up and saw her puppy dog eyes with her lip pouted out.
"Are you seriously going to try to make me feel bad?"
More puppy dog eyes.
"Ugh fine!" I sighed.
"Yes!!!" She yelled grabbing ahold of me again and rushing me into the common room to grab our things. This is going to be interesting.

"Poppy we have a problem" I said throwing clothes out of my trunk.
"What is it?" she asked turning around.
