The glares kept going till I finally just started chugging my drink. No longer being able to take the silence that filled the table.

I slammed my pint on the table, causing the boys to jump out of their trances of glares.

"Well.... this was fun." I said, slowly slipping my jacket over my shoulders. I felt sluggish as I giggled trying to get my arm through the hole.

"Fun isn't exactly the word I'd choose." Sebastian said lowly as he looked down at the remainder of his drink.

My smile immediately dropped hearing his words before standing slowly and gathering myself.

"I think I'm going to head out for the night. Thanks for the company." I said to the boys.

"Wait Alora, you can't go back on your own its dangerous." Ominis spoke.

"Oh yes I can! I think I can handle myself Ominis. Don't forget I took on Ranrok and all his loyalist all by myself!" I said smirking.

"Your tipsy." Sebastian bluntly stated as he grabbed his heavy black leather coat. Ominis following suit as he went and grabbed his dark green knitted coat.

"I am not. Don't be ridiculous."

"Did you seriously only have one drink and get drunk that easily?" Ominis asked.

I sighed heavily. "Oh, for fuck's sake, god forbid I try to enjoy myself." I turned to walk towards the door.

"Ominis is right, it's not safe." Sebastian stated.

"I don't need protection Sebastian."

"Do you seriously want to go tracking in the snow in the dark by yourself?" Sebastian asked as he pushed his chair in.

I shook my head in disbelief, realizing I wasn't going to win this fight.

"Fine." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.

Ominis sighed, coming over to my side. I glared at him before moving in front of him, heading towards the door.

"Don't you glare at me like that Alora. I can still feel your eyes burning a hole through me."

How the hell does he do that?

I shook my head, opening the door in front of me with Sebastian and Ominis on my tail. Feeling the cold crisp air grab me.

We walked along the dark long path back to Hogwarts, Ominis with his wand out creating a bright red glow at the tip of his wand. Sebastian looking out past the cliff paying to no mind where he was going.

I sighed heavily as I felt the effects of the butterbeer slowly start to wear off. I didn't want this tension. I thought we were on the right track. But my heart pounded heavily in my chest thinking of the yule ball. How was I going to have a good time with now my eyes completely going to be on the one person now I was irritated with and with the one girl who made me grind my gears more than anyone else. Of all people, why her!

"So, Sebastian, you asked Imelda huh?" I asked curiously as I looked over my left shoulder catching his eye.

"Uh yeah... I did." Sebastian said lowly.

"Hm." I said turning my head down the pathway.

"Is there a problem?" Sebastian suddenly asked causing my bones to jump out of my skin. Ominis chuckling to himself as we all continued to walk down the cobblestone path.

"Oh. Um. No.... I-I just really didn't think you two were that close."

"Were not."

I looked over my shoulder again, more confused than when we left. His dark eyes focusing on the many footprints in the snow with his hands in his pockets.

"Then why are you-"

There was a large tree snapping noise in the distance that caught all our attention. We all stopped in our paths as we continued to listen to the constant snapping of the branches. I yanked out my wand, ready for anything to happen.

The trees began to move, swaying back and forth, some breaking as they fell to the earth. We felt the ground shake slightly from the large stomping noise that hit the ground.

Three men in black and red cloaks with the snake symbol outlined in the same colors came out of the woods, now only standing about 40 feet away. My breath caught realizing these were the same men that attacked me not too long ago.

The last man came with a large metal chain that linked itself to a large forest troll, smacking his way as he cut down trees in his wake with his large wooden spear in his hands.

You couldn't see their faces from the darkness that cloaked their figures. Their wands at their sides as they stood in front of us, blocking our path to Hogwarts.

I sighed deeply, trying to get my nerves under control. It was different when I only had myself to defend. Now I had Sebastian and Ominis behind me.

The first man that was closest to us took a step forward.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I yelled at him.

He stopped in his tracks, a low dark chuckle coming from him. Small laughter filling the men in between them.

"Is that so? And what makes you think a little girl like yourself is going to anything about it?"

"Don't you wonder why your previous people never came back?"

The man huffed. "And where are they then?"

"In the fucking ground where I put them!" I yelled.

"Alora don't antagonize them, are you crazy?" Ominis harshly said in almost a whisper as he took a step closer to me.

"I'm going to give you two choices, tread carefully on your decision. Give up and leave with your lives or..... fight and I'll end them for you."

"Big words for such a little girl." The men laughed in unison.

I turned towards Sebastian looking over my shoulder. He stood with determination with his wand at his side.

"Get Ominis out of here." I demanded.

"You really think you can take them on all on your own?" He asked, raising a brow at me.

"I'm not asking Sebastian! Do as I fucking say I don't want you both in the middle of this!"

"Too late Alora, plus, it's been a long time since I've had a good fight." Sebastian said as he smiled at me.

I sighed deeply, closing my eyes in frustration.

"Ominis-"

"No Alora, Sebastian is right for once. We have a better chance of surviving together."

"Damn it you two, why don't you just listen-"

"As much as we love letting you three chit chat, we have a job to do. Give us the keepers wand. Now!" The man in the hooded figure yelled.

"Sebastian god damn it, get out of here!" I yelled at him.

He came to stand right in my face looking down fiercely at me. Our eyes matching with the same determination as his warm breath fanned my face.

"No, I won't let them hurt you again. I'm going to help whether you want me to or not."

"Why are you so god damn stubborn, the both of you!" I sighed deeply, "Fine! Stay behind me don't do anything stupid you got it?" I glared at him.

"Got it." He said as he moved behind me, his wand at the ready.

"Ominis stay close to Sebastian." I said as I turned my attention back to the cloaked men.

Ominis pulled his wand in the ready position and nodded at me, taking a step behind Sebastian.

I took a small step towards the men. "This is your last warning, leave now!" I yelled harshly.

"Enough talking! Petrificus Totalus!"
