*Sebastian POV*
I fussed with my tie in the mirror, trying to get it to sit correctly on my neck, my hands fumbling as I began to sweat from aggravation. I occasionally watched as Ominis was on the other side of the room, catching glances of each other in the mirror as I watched him fix himself up in his emerald suit. He did his tie perfectly as always, causing me to groan even louder that the damn asshole could do his own tie by himself, and he was bloody blind.
I threw my jacket off me, feeling as though it was useless, having to take Imelda of all women to this ball had me already on edge, and the fact that Ominis would have his hands all over Alora tonight made my heart ache and rage at the same time.
I heard footsteps behind me as I watched him in the mirror.
"What?" I asked harshly.
"Turn around, I'll do it for you." Ominis said.
I huffed, knowing I didn't want to give in to him but at the same time knowing if I didn't get this damn tie right, I'd be late, and Imelda would yet again never shut up about it.
I turned to him in defeat. "Fine, go ahead."
Ominis smirked slightly, satisfaction showing all over his face as he began to undo the tie.
"Don't think this changes anything you know." I said.
Ominis rolled his eyes at me. "I wouldn't dream of it. But.... doesn't mean I don't care about you Sebastian. You still are my friend after all."
"Some friend you are, stealing the one person I might have feelings for."
I gripped my hands to my side, wanting nothing more than to land a punch on him. He was slowly starting to irritate me, bit by bit without even really doing anything.
"Ugh, stand still. I'll never get this bloody tie done if you don't stop moving."
I groaned as I looked past him, watching the other students start to flood out of their dorms heading for the common room to meet their dates. I knew Imelda would be there, waiting for me.
Ominis sighed heavily, finally putting the tie in place as he flipped down my collar. "I'm not going to argue about her tonight Sebastian. You've made your choice, for once why don't you try to enjoy yourself. I know I will." He smirked at me causing my blood to boil.
"Watch yourself Ominis, you'll never know when I'll be there with a wand at your back."
"Empty threats won't get you anywhere Sebastian, try to remember that." He said as he headed out in the direction of the hallway.
"Watch me."

*Alora POV*
Poppy held my hand as we came down the many stairs, getting closer to the fountain where the boys would be waiting for us. I felt my heart was going to fall right out of my chest as we closed in around the corner.
I stopped as I grabbed the railing for support, pulling Poppy at a stop with me as she held onto me.
"Alora what's wrong?"
"I'm just.... I don't know why I'm so nervous! It's not like I'm used to doing this kind of thing!" I said as my breath were coming out in pants anxiety starting to take over.
Poppy huffed, smiling slightly at me. "Alora, you take on dragons and poachers like its hobby, and your more worried about what Sebastian and Ominis think of your dress?"
She almost choked on her words as she softly laughed at me.
I took in a deep breath, "Okay okay, your right. Everything is going to be fine I just need to not trip to death on these stairs and make a fool of myself."
"Come on, I'll go first I can't wait to see Garreth's face."
I nodded to her to go ahead as I took a few more deep breaths trying to get my composure together.
I watched as Poppy took her steps down and turning the corner, watching her wink at me as she went down the last flight of stairs to where the boys would be standing.
Once I knew she was at the end of the stairs, I started to make descend before turning the corner. My last and final deep breath being taken as I turned, letting the train of my dress follow.
I caught the sight of Ominis standing right in front of the fountain, his back was turned to me as I made my first step down the stairs.
He was talking to Garreth before Poppy tugged on his sleeve, Ominis eyes immediately meeting mine as I continued to take the slow steps.
Ominis walked up the bottom of the stairs waiting for me as Poppy explained my dress to him. His eyes continued to get wider, his smile ever grew till he was almost smirking at me.
I heard a giggle out of the corner of where on the other side of the fountain was, looking up to see Imelda in a tight short black dress, laughing as she held onto Sebastians arm, her chest pushing up against him as they both apparently laughed at something another Slytherin student said.
Sebastians eyes met mine the second Imelda took a look in my direction, eyeing me up and down at the sight of my dress, jealousy filling her eyes.
I felt as if my breath was being taken away when I looked at Sebastian, he was in a black tuxedo suit, completely fitted to him like a glove, making every curve and muscle pop in all the right directions. His hair was nicely combed to the side, not ruffed up like I normally liked it but now just combed enough to seem more put in place.
I slightly smiled at him as his eyes seemed to glisten at the sight of me. Feeling the heart strings go to him, wishing it was me that was hanging around his arm.
I looked back down at Ominis, smiling brightly as I watched him. He always out did himself, his dark green, emerald suit with his green bow tie. His hair was nicely combed to one side, noticing some slight gel to keep it in place. His white eyes drinking me in as I continued to make my descend down to him.
He bowed to me, in a fancy way, one hand in the front of his chest while the other in his back, smiling at me before reaching his arm out for me to take.
"My dear."
I laughed slightly at the reaction, feeling the wandering eyes on me as they watched.
"Ominis." I said, feeling my cheeks heat up from the attention, and his smooth hands coming around mine.
"You look absolutely to die for." Ominis said, his comment made me feel even hotter than before.
"Oh, thank you, you don't look bad yourself Ominis."
He pulled me a little closer to him, causing my breath to slightly catch from being caught off guard. He warmly grabbed my hand and sliding it under his arm, as we walked together to the entrance of the ball.
"Tell me Alora, with your own eyes what do you look like right now."
I looked down at me dress, trying to find the words to describe it.
"Well... it's a silk green dress, with black lace designed over the top, off the shoulder with black lace sleeves with a long train in the back. My hair is swept to one side with a large braid."
He smiled as he listened.
"You know, I think you forgot to add something" He said, pulling me to a stop right before the entrance as it was just in reach.
"What is it? Did I forget to say earrings or a necklace? Because I have those too."
"No Alora, you forgot to say that you are undeniably beautiful."
I bit my lip, feeling my eyes slightly glisten from the comment. I've never had somebody say such nice things to me.
"Thank you.... Ominis. I'm honored to be with you tonight."
He brought my hand to his mouth, kissing it. Smiling at me with his beautiful white orbs.
"Shall we dance?" He asked.
"I'd love to."
