When I woke up again, the snow had started. The little crystals hitting up again the windows as my feet rustled in the sheets. A familiar ache between my legs as I sat up in the bed, wiping away the sleep in my eyes. I looked down and found an empty bed.
My eyes traveling around the room looking for him, but only finding his wand still at his bed side on the counter.
I got up slowly, sliding on my pants and pulling over Sebastian's sweater that was over on the floor. Pulling it up to my nose as the familiar scent of him felt like home.
My feet traveled to the door, peaking through the cracks to see if I could see anyone down the hallway, only hearing the brief sound of a book with pages sliding across to the other side.
I stayed close to the wall, making my way towards the sound. A mix of a smoky fire and warmed up coffee hit my nose as I turned the corner.
Sebastian sat in his normal spot, sitting next to the fire with a book in his hand, his eyes intensely reading over whatever he was entranced in. Steam rising from his cup that sat up on the mantle, a light green sweater with plaid pajama pants to match. His hair slightly ruffled up from our activities the night before. I could be happy letting him take me over and over again in bed if he always looked like that in the morning.
The creek of the floor boards gave me away as he caught me in the hallway. Slapping the book closed as he smiled brightly at me.
"Well good morning sweetheart."
"Good morning Sebastian." I said softly.
I stayed in my spot, not sure how we were supposed to be acting now even though I had confessed my feelings to him full force or if we planned on not acting like anything happened especially now since Anne would be present and now.... Ominis.
"Come here darling." He said.
My feet shuffled across the floor boards, finally meeting him in front of the fire. His arms immediately opening for me as I let my body sink into him. Relief washing over me that we weren't pretending anymore.
He wrapped me up in him like a pretty bow, his chin just sitting above my head. Occasionally kissing my head as my cheeks laid on his warm sweater.
"How did you sleep?" He asked.
I hummed to myself, "Good actually, was surprised when you weren't in bed."
He chucked, "Sorry love, couldn't sleep in any longer."
He pulled away, looking down at me with a smirk on his face. His hands running up and down my arms.
"Would you like some coffee?" He asked.
"Please?"
"Ofcourse, go sit down I'll be right back."
He left my side, walking swiftly to the kitchen as my body slumped down into the couch. Facing the fire as I heard the clinks of drawers closing and metal smacking against eachother. The sound of coffee being poured hummed my ears with delight.
After a few minutes he came back with a hot cup for me, putting it on my lap as he took a seat next to me.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
I smiled, feeling my cheeks heat up from the embarrassment.
"Sore."
He chuckled as he repositioned himself on the couch.
"Your welcome."
"You know, I don't think that I ever said thank you." I said sarcastically.
"Not what you were screaming last-"
