I obliviated the others so they would forget their memories and pushed their bodies in the bushes so they wouldn't be found while they were still knocked out. I couldn't risk other people finding them in the street when the morning traffic started. The others that I killed were burned to a crisp, there ashes getting caught in the wind whisking them away. I felt the power start to dissipate back into myself. Like it was getting sucked back into my veins, releasing my eyes back to normal and not a red glow. My nose had stopped bleeding, I knew my sweater was ruined from the blood and my face was probably caked in it from it becoming dried out.

I walked back to the castle holding my shoulder, piercing pain every time I took a step forward. I cursed myself that I couldn't go to the nurse, they would just ask too many questions.

I got up to the castle door and casted the Disillusionment spell on myself, hopefully getting myself back to the common room without being seen. Poppy would know what to do or at least one of the other herbology nerds in Hufflepuff.

I made my way up the stairs near the dark arts tower when I saw one or more Hogwarts prefects walking around the castle doing their nightly checks blocking my path down to the main hall where the entrance of the common room was.

"Shit, I'm never getting passed them"

I looked in the distance and saw behind the stairs where the undercroft was. Maybe if I could hang out there for a while till the prefects change swifts, I could get past them.

I went behind the stairs where the undercroft entrance was. I pulled out my wand, giving it a swish, listening to the gears switch and turn clicking open.

The metal gate opened up as I stepped inside. The fireplace was still burning to the left giving the room heat and warmth that hit my face right away. All the candles had been blown out leaving the only light coming from the fire.

"Who's there!" Sebastian yelled coming out of the couches with his wand out.

I uncasted the disillusionment charm showing myself back to my normal state.

"Sebastian it's me!" I yelled taking a step forward.

My heart jumped out of my chest when I saw him. He was in his white shirt with his green tie. Some of it had been unbuttoned from the top giving it room for his neck. His hair had been pushed more to one side than the other.

"Alora what the bloody hell are you doing here!?" he said dropping his wand to his side.

I walked to the light and the second he saw my face his facial expressions went from pissed off to worried. His eye softened at the sight of me which caused my breath to hitch.

"I'm sorry I just need a place -"

"What happened to you?" he asked cutting me off taking a few steps closer to me.

I took a deep breath closing my eyes, trying to get my feelings in check. My heart rate was going crazy with him this close to me.

"It's a long story Sebastian, one in which I'm sure your not interested in" I said making my way to sit over on one of the couches. He followed suit on the other side facing me.

"Try me" Looking at me intently, his brown eyes flickering back in forth between mine with the light of the fire playing with the color of his eyes.

"I got attacked on my way home from Hogsmeade."

His eyes got wide. "How do the other guys look?"

My eyes met his and I laughed slightly "Well, I don't think most of them are going to remember anything anytime soon that's for sure."
