Sebastian POV
The dark forest never had changed. It was dark, cold, and seemed to go on forever with its constant twist and turns. Making it almost nearly impossible to get back to the same spot from before. I didn't know the exact entrance of where Alora would be, but I'd keep searching. I couldn't give up on her, no matter what they try to do I have to get her back.
In a matter of seconds, the ground started to violently shake. Causing me and Ominis to lose our balance as we rushed to find a tree to hold onto.
"What the hell is this!? An earthquake?!" Ominis yelled.
I looked beyond the trees, trying to figure out what the hell was going on as we braced ourselves. Multiple tree branches were falling around us, trees in the distance becoming uprooted as they plummeted to the ground. Animals running in every other direction, even the spiders bouncing from their webs trying to escape it.
A bright beam of red light appeared in the middle of the forest. Giving the forest just enough light from the trees being split apart.
"It has to be her, I just know it!" I yelled over the noise.
I grabbed Ominis sweater, pulling him along with me as we battled trying to get up the hill. The earth had started to curve upwards, almost like a blossoming flower from the inside. I grabbed a few branches, shielding my eyes from the red light as we finally reached the top of the clearing.
I looked down once we got to the top. My heart stopping when I saw Alora standing next to the red light. Her eyes shining a bright green. It only meant one thing, she was underneath the imperius curse.
"Fucking merlin." I said under my breath.
"Whats wrong Sebastian, what do you see?" Ominis asked. Grabbing onto a tree that had split sideways.
I sighed, "She's here but shes underneath the imperius curse. They have her trapped."
"Fucking hell." Ominis said.
They were surrounding her in a circle, their backs turned to her as they watched the outskirts, the repository in the middle of the hole in the ground. The magic was being released from the repository, some of the goblin silver becoming shattered as the magic was seeping through. Almost like it was being set free from its binds.
"Well, what's the plan Sebastian?" Ominis asked.
I looked into every angle trying to figure out a way we could move in on her without being detected.
"I'm working on it. They have her surrounded. They have at least 20 or more men here, we can't just run up in there or we'll die instantly."
"And here I thought you had everything figured out." Ominis said jokingly.
I rolled my eyes at him, "Shut up Ominis."
There was a man that had moved from the line up. He took off his hood that hid his face. Smiling as he made his way towards Alora. He had dark brown eyes, with a wicked look on his face. Scars running down his eye and lips.
He came behind Alora, hugging her from behind as he kissed her hair. Laughing wildly as he watched the magic being released.
"I'm going to kill him." I said lowly.
"Is that him? The one who put the curse on her?" Ominis said with his wand raised.
I clenched my jaw together, watching as he touched her. Smelling her hair, gripping her shoulder, pulling her close to him as he whispered into her ears.
"He's got his fucking hands all over her. I'm going to make sure I put his ass deep in the fucking ground."
Alora stood deathly still as he did as he pleased. Watching her poor face completely emotionless as she took the abuse.
