Every fiber in my being shook slightly hearing his words, telling me I could sit with him. That he was willing to try. Willing to put what we went through behind him and move forward. It made my heart sing.

I smiled shyly as I jumped into the seat that was across from them, readjusting my plate on the table so it was symmetrical with my chest.

I looked across the table Ominis staring at me with a smirk on his face, laughing softly to himself. In disbelief that Sebastian caved so easily.

"How are you feeling?" Ominis asked.

"I'm doing fine, no need to worry about me you know. Real question is how are YOU doing?" I asked, grabbing some toast off the table.

"I'm doing fine. Still sore from when Sebastian punched me in the damn jaw."

"You deserved that one." Sebastian notated as he looked down as his cereal.

"I'd beg to differ Sebastian. Although you do throw a damn good right hook." Ominis said, rubbing his jaw.

"Hmm." Sebastian hummed.

I smiled at him, breathing deeply while taking a chomp out of my toast, trying to remind myself to eat so I don't pass out.

"What class do you have next?" I asked.

"Potions." Sebastian said, looking up to tell me. "You?"

"Same."

"Ugh god Potions, the one class I dread more than flying." Ominis said. Taking a sip of his drink.

I laughed slightly, "You were always pretty bad at that, even last year you were terrible at it."

"Doesn't help I'm blind. Don't know what the hell I'm putting in the cauldron till it blows up." Ominis said.

"Do you guys remember when I gave Garreth that fwooper feather from sharps office last year and the damn thing blew up in fireworks going everywhere. That was hilarious." I said laughing slightly.

I looked across the table and even saw Sebastian laughing along with me and Ominis as we relished in the old memory.

The bells began to ring loudly, announcing for everyone to get to their first class. The food magically disappearing from the table, causing it to become perfectly clean.

Sebastian stood up abruptly grabbing his books swiftly. His green Slytherin robes following after him.

"See you in class then?" I asked boldly.

He stopped in his tracks, looking at me and paused. "Yeah.... See you both." he said before walking down quickly the side of the table before exiting the great hall followed by other students.

Me and Ominis sat awhile letting the students fill out of the great hall till only a few stragglers were remaining.

"Well, Well, Alora, I must say I'm impressed. Since when did you get so bold?" Ominis asked, his white orbs smirking at me.

We both stood as I laughed shly. "Figured I got nothing to lose I guess."

Ominis got up pointing his wand in front of him, the small red light shined brightly at the end of his wand blinking as we both made our way from the tables.

We walked side by side, heading in the direction of Professor Sharps classroom.

"How is Anne doing by the way?" I asked lowly, leaning close to him so he would be the only one to hear.

"She's doing splendid actually. No issues thanks to you. She's in the process of reapplying to Hogwarts so that she can maybe join next year."

"No luck of her joining late this year?" I asked.
