Narrator POV
Boruto was cursing anything and everything coming to his mind. Today was just the worst, first being confronted by Sarada and now getting exposed to Sasuke?? Is there anything worse left? He thinks no.  He was kinda glad that he was soaked right now because the water offered a flawless camouflage for his tears which he could feel leaking out of his eyes. 

calm down calm down. think , think. Alright so Sasuke-san has seen my face and bells must be ringging in his head alarming him that i for sure have a connection with dad and by extension with the incident of 3 years back. However, he still hasn't gained back his memories of "Boruto" for now it's only a reveal of Bolt's actual face.  I can still turn the situation around, if i erase his memory again up till the moment he started hearing the conversation at the convenience store and then leave him there only. Yes that will work , even if he feels hazzy afterwards he can't trace it back to me. but in order to do that i need him unconscious. THAT is a big deal, the only way i can achieve that is if i go for killing blows because anything less than that will only work in hiss favour.

Thinking so, boruto's  gaze hardened. His mind was set , he was as willing as to kill Sasuke if it meant  to preserve his secret .

Sasuke on the other hand was having a million thoughts running in his head, he was repeatedly trying to look back in his memories in hope that maybe he recalled something but to no avail, it was as if someone had placed a lock on those specific regions of his mind. he was so engrossed in his mind that he almost didn't dodge the  katana that came down in a flash aiming for his head . A straight killing blow. Regaining his senses he saw that bolt's icy smiley face was now replaced with a feral scowl. He seemed like a wounded animal whose only intention was to kill the cause of the wound. His battle instincts kicked in and he was immediately in his battle stance, bracing himself.

Boruto wasted no time and began his barrage of kicks, punches and sword swinging. He was fueling each movement with chakra in order to enhance his speed. His desperation strenghtening his resolve.

Sasuke could feel himself getting overwhelmed slowly as he tried to fight back and get a read on bolt's movements. However, even his sharingan wasn't helping him much. Bolt's sure wasn't kidding around this time.

This is bad, at this rate i'll certainly lose and get captured by him. My doubts about him having an advantage over me are turning out to be true. However, right now the priority isn't winning this fight. I have to get the word of this to Naruto and the others asap, but he has the control over the flow of this fight. i can't leave or create a shadow clone. in other words i have to drag attention to this place. The ANBU will notice the disturbance and act immediately, sending a squad over hear for inspection and a messenger over to Naruto. And the most effective way to do that is by summoning a Susanoo.

Deciding that this would be the best course of action, Sasuke jumped a back and started channeling his chakra to summon a Susanoo. However, much to his surprise nothing happened, in fact his whole body started to feel numb. 

what!!!!! but how ?????? my chakra reserves aren't so small to get exhausted this quickly ? unless......

He hurriedly glanced at himself with his sharingan, only to find his chakra points blocked.

Before he could react, boruto slammed his knee onto Sasuke's temple successfully disorienting him, not wasting a moment he spun on his heel and kicked away Sasuke's sword from his hand. 

Sasuke came to his senses and knee-ed the crouching bolt in the face, and broke his nose and jumped back only to release a barage of shurikens. as he saw bolt deal with them he ducked again on instinct's call only to narrowly avoid another knee slam at his head. he was now dealing with 2 bolts, he momentarily glanced at the other bolt only to find him poofed away , shadow clone  although this surprised him less. in his mind there was no doubt left that this boy in front of him was the dobe's son. however, he had more pressing concerns right now .

1) he had to somehow get this info to the others 

2) his chakra points are blocked for the next 24 hours, so he was practically chakra-less in a fight against someone with and ocean- like capacity of chakra.

truly the odds were not in his favor.

Boruto on the other hand was trying to find a way to win. Sure he blocked Sasuke's chakra points but that didn't make the situation completely in his favor. His main problem was the man's reflexes. Suddenly an idea came to his mind.

Alright bolt you can do this it just needs a little trickery and you got this.

Charging forward he engaged Sasuke in close quarters combat.
However there was something odd in this style, which got notice by Sasuke.

Why isn't he lifting his right foot?

He got his answer a moment later when several chakra chains shot out from the ground from his point blank range and wrapped themselves around him completely immobilizing him.
He tried to free himself but in vain. He glanced at bolt only to see him finally lift his right foot, revealing the roots of the chains emerging from his sol .

In that moment Sasuke had to admit, he had lost.
