Chapter 30 - Even Cats Need Advice Too (Marinette/Ladybug)

I was watching the sunset on my balcony. It was so beautiful. Until a certain cat appeared, he was pacing back and forth on the roof of the building closet to my house.

I watched him. He noticed me and his face lit up. He came over to me. "Hey, it's Marinette, right?" I nodded. "I.. Need some advice..." His face went a little red. Ah jeez, I think I know where this is going.

"Come on in then," I invited him in and sat in front of him on my bed. It was silent for a while. I sighed. "What's his name?" He blushed. "I-..." I wouldn't be surprised if it's still Luka, even though he's in love with Adrien and Adrien is in love with him.

Maybe it's Viperion. That would make sense. I mean, considering we caught them in an almost kiss when we defeated that Akuma....

~Flashback~

Chat Noir sacrificed himself to save me. And then Viperion sacrificed himself to save Purple Tigress. After that we fought like mad.

"Miraculous Ladybug!"

I expected them to come back from the spots they were standing in when they were turned to stone, but that wasn't the case.

Viperion and Chat Noir, were sitting, hands intertwined with both of them leaning in. They just didn't know that until a group of Magic Ladybugs interrupted them and revealed what they were up to. In front of all of us.

They pulled away from eachother, stood up, both red like tomatoes, and jumped off. Was that weird, or was that weird?

~End Of Flashback~

I glanced at him. "Are you still in love with Luka?" His eyes widened and he shook his head. "No. I let him go, he was so happy when I told him he should be with Adrien." He looked so sad. "Viperion?" His face went red. He's the same old Chat Noir. He hasn't changed a bit. And that got me thinking...

I want to tell him I'm Ladybug. He's been my partner for like two years already. I got my Miraculous when I was still thirteen. When I saved Master Fu. I'm guessing he tested all of us to see if we were worthy.

He made the right choice. I'm going to miss him. And now I'm the Guardian. That's a huge responsibility. I'm supposed to know the identities, but not all of them.

Knowing my partner of two years identity wouldn't hurt, right? He'll know mine too. I took a deep breath. I'm the Guardian now, I know the risks, but we can get through it, together.

"I have something to tell you." Him saying that at the exact same time as me was something I didn't expect. "You go first," I insisted. He shook his head. "No, you first." I frowned.

It went of for a good ten minutes, until he finally gave in and went first. "Marinette, you have been there for me the entire time. From the time we first met, up till now. I've grown to trust you so much, and I know you don't know that you know me, because you do. And by the end of this speech, you'll know who I am." I already know him? How?

He continued. "Yes, I did have a crush on you at one point, but you rejecting me actually brought out the side of me I didn't know I had and was keeping in. Marinette, you're my best friend and I would trust you with my life."

Oh my gosh. I think I know who he is. There's only one person who had a crush on me that has told me. Adrien!

"Claws In."

I was right. There, sitting in front of me on my bed, was Adrien Agreste. I hugged him, "I would never have asked for a better partner in those two years..." He pulled away.

"Are you...?" I smiled and nodded. "I'm Ladybug." He pulled me into another hug. "I'm so happy it's you..." This time I pulled away.

"Wait a minute, you're Chat Noir." I said. "Yeah..." I stared at him. "You were with Luka twice. As Chat Noir and as yourself. And he doesn't know he dated you before, and fell in love with you, again. Without realizing it." He nodded.
