Our Drama class was getting ready to perform Cinderella in front of the entire School. I was given the role of one of the wicked step-sisters along with Chloe. Marinette was to be the wicked step-mother.

Luka is Prince Charming and Adrien is Cinderella herself. I was across the entire stage and I could hear his reaction from all the way over there. Alya was the one who had to tell him.

He wasn't happy at all. I don't blame him, but only a couple of the girls in our class auditioned for Cinderella. They were given other roles and were actually happy about it.

Today we were picking out our costumes and Adrien refused to come out from behind the curtain after putting on the wig and dress. "I'm sure it's not that bad, it's probably more comfortable than mine." Luka said.

Luka was wearing an outfit a Prince would wear. To me it looked pretty uncomfortable but he was the one wearing it so it was probably worse for him.

"Just come out Adrien, we'll have to see it eventually." I inisted. "Fine." The curtain moved to the side. For a second I thought I was looking at the real Cinderella. "Whoa... you look exactly like her."

Adrien crossed his arms. "I know, that's the problem. How do you wear this much makeup everyday? It took Marinette like half an hour to apply it." Marinette was beside me. "It took me fifteen minutes." She corrected.

"It felt like an hour." Adrien grumbled. Mrs. Tucker came over to us. "Oh, Prince Charming and Cinderella look so handsome and beautiful." She gushed. Luka stood proudly.

Adrien was upset. "These fake breasts make my chest feel weird." He poked them throught his dress. "Right, perfect, once we have our costumes on we're going to do a dress rehersal."

I watched as everyone got in their costumes and went into postion with scripts in hand. Since Alya was the one with the best voice she was picked to be the one and only narrator for the story.

Nino was on set, being in charge of lights, sounds, and camera. Of course he had help, but that was his main job. That's something he's good at. "Okay ready?" All the actors nodded. Adrien sat on the ground pretending to scrub the floor.

"Oh, how much I would give to be able to go to the ball... but my wicked step-mother and sisters would never allow me to." He placed a hand on his forehead and did a dramatic sigh.

That was our cue to come out. "Cinderella, be of use and get our dresses ready. That'll be the only way you can be part of the ball." Chloe sneered. She was Drizella, I was Anastasia. "O-of course.." Adrien smiled weakly before he ran off stage.

"Wow guys! That was perfect! I'm very impressed with your line memorization. That was fast." Mrs. Tucker clapped her hands. "Right okay.. let's practice the part where Cinderella is arriving at the ball in her beautiful dress." She said.

"We need Prince Charming out here." Luka stepped out from behind the curtain and took his position. Adrien bit his lip. He read the script, this scene has an almost kiss, but that's close enough for him.

Adrien stepped forward and walked over to Luka. "Start dancing, it'll be good practice." Nino suggested. Adrien glared at him but the practicing DJ only laughed a little.

Luka slowly put his hands just above Adrien's waist. Adrien only put his hands on Luka's shoulders, not around them. They started swaying back and forth to the music.

When Luka started leaning in, Adrien panicked and shoved him away. "Why do I have to be Cinderella? Why can't it be Chloe? She doesn't have to wear a wig!" He protested.

"No.. but me being Cinderella means Miles has to be Prince Charming and he's not in this class, so he can't, plus I don't want to kiss a guy who isn't my boyfriend." She glanced at Luka. "No offense, Lu." She appologized. Luka shrugged. "None taken, I feel the exact same way." Adrien took that statment as his ticket out.
