Chapter 78 - Fight Song (Marinette/Ladybug)

Okay. I just beat up a bunch of female burglars and it felt awesome! When I got the call from Adrien when he was Chat, I didn't understand what he meant. It took me a few minutes to put two and two together and figure it out, Once I did, I called the girls right away. They were thrilled to kick some ass. I was too.

Although after we left them, I had a feeling something happened. I had to wait to ask Adrien and Luka. Seperatly of course. Their stories would probably be different so I'll prepare myself for anything. Whoever I found first would be who I asked first. Luka or Adrien, didn't matter which one went first as long as I was able to ask them both.

I waited at the front of the School. I eyed the door, just waiting for the next person to some out. "Uh... honey..?" I shushed Mason without knowing most likely because I was too busy staring down the door. Adrien was the first to enter. Once I saw him I was able to relax. I just had one more thing to do before talking to him though.

I had to apologize to my boyfriend for dismissing him like that. "I'm sorry about that love, I was just anxious to speak to Adrien." He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Of course, you're worried about him. He's one of your best friends and I understand, I would do the same thing. Go talk to him, I'll be here." He's so understanding.

Before I left, I leaned up and pecked him on the lips. Then I ran over to Adrien. "Hey.. how'd it go..?" I asked. He looked up at me, I gasped when I saw the dark bags under his eyes. "After you guys left it just got so much worse..." He muttered. "Oh no.. what happend? Tell me everything." He took a deep breath, I could tell he was trying to find the best way to explain.

"So it started with awkward silence, and I don't what was wrong with me but I just started an argument. Maybe I was upset because after we broke up he went to get with.. well, me. But he doesn't know that. We argued a lot, then I was going to leave, the jewlery robbers, you guys showed up, blah, blah blah, then you left, after that.. we tried to say sorry about the argument earlier then he was saying I was right and maybe he shouldn't be with Adrien, I told him don't let what I said be the reason you're over, don't make the same mistake as I did with Luka, then I pretty much called myself a backup for him. He got upset, I got even more upset, he finally snapped and said he was glad we broke up because it gave him the excuse to date Adrien, he tried to apologize but I didn't listen and said he should've said that sooner and we could've avoided the whole mess.. after that I left and went back home and well.. he cried in my arms because of what I said to him as Chat... oh Marinette, I really messed up."

Once he was finished I didn't know what to say. All I could think about was how Luka was going to tell me his side of the story. I bet at least Juleka knew his side of the story. I was worried she might storm in here and take Adrien away to yell at him. I didn't want that to happen, they were both upset and said things they didn't mean at all.

Just as I suspected, Juleka came into the School followed by Luka. They saw us and came over. Juleka looked like she was trying to keep her temper in upon seeing Adrien, but had to keep her cool because Luka had no idea Chat Noir was standing right here with us, and Adrien had no idea Viperion was here with us too.

Chloe arrived with Miles and they joined our little circle. Nino and Alya came in a few minutes later with Rose. She found her place next to Juleka. I gentured for Mason to join us and he did, next to me. Felix and Kagami joined us later, it took them forever, but they were finally dating and I was really happy for them. They're good together.

My friend group had grown very large over the last couple years. We met so many new people, some of them had to leave for reasons, and then new ones came to join us. And I met Mason and now I'm his girlfriend. We've been dating for a couple months and I don't feel safe keeping my double-life a secret from him anymore. I gotta tell him.
