My detention with Adrien was... interesting. I didn't understand what Mr. Bolton was trying to explain to us at first, but after hearing more, I got it. I wasn't sure if Adrien did though.

I couldn't ask him, could I? Would that be awkward? I mean, we were just told a story about one of our teacher's tragic backstory about how he and his husband got married.

I feel like it would be awkward to start a conversation with that. I'll start a conversation with someone else and then just put that in somewhere along the way.

I roamed the School until I ended up almost literally bumping into Adrien. "Hi." He looked at me awkwardly. "Hey." I knew he was trying to avoid talking to me.

That's when I decided to just be frank with it and ask him upright. "How did you feel about our detention? We still have four days to go and I need you to be honest with me." If he tried to avoid the question, then I would just keep asking.

"I don't know how I feel about it. Mr. Bolton's story really got me thinking about our.. complicated friendship. If you could even call it that.." He mutterd that last sentence under his breath, but I heard him.

"I understand how complicated out friendship is," I started off by clearly informing him that I heard everything he said. "But for the sake of our other friends, we need to fix it as best we can." I was expecting him to argue, but he didn't.

"I'm doing this for Marinette and the others, not for you." He replied bluntly. I wanted to tell him that was a little rude.. and hurtful to me but I didn't want to turn this into an argument.

Because apperently every conversation I have with Adrien turns into one. "I'm not doing this for you either. For once we agree on something." I wasn't able to tell if I was lying or not.

"I guess we do." Adrien crossed his arms. He didn't look at me. "You can at least look at me when we talk. Then it will seem like you're actually listening to me when we have a conversation." He, groaned and rolled his eyes.

For once he listened and turned to face me. "There. I'm looking at you. Happy now?" If I said I was, I'd be lying. So I decided to just nod. "Okay, what is it you wanted to say to me?" He asked flatly.

"Literally anything as long as it's a conversation." Adrien scowled. "We are having a conversation." I frowned. "Not a proper one." He opened his mouth to speak but stopped when he turned after we heard laughing.

"Nath! Stop it! I'm ticklish!" Marc was laughing with his eyes closed as Nathaniel tickled him in the sides and stomach. After Marc was done giggling Nathaniel kissed him on the cheek.

I felt this strange pain in my chest when I saw them together. Not because I was jealous, but because they could be together and didn't have to worry about their boyfriend's Dad trying to murder-in a way I guess-them and their friends just for some pair of earrings and a ring.

With the bonus of like five other Miraculous.

"Oh crap." I looked up and saw Marc and Nath looking at us. "This is awkward..." Marc's face nearly matched his boyfriend's hair. "If we knew you guys were there we never would have.." Nath triailed off.

I waved my hands up. "No, it's fine. We're not offended." Adrien jabbed me in the side with his elboy and I had to fight to not show it hurt. It was like that was him telling me 'I can speak for myself thank you very much' in the most.. Adrien way possible.

"Well.. I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to say to you guys because we don't really know what it's like to have-" Nathaniel cut himself off. Marc definitely wasn't going to say that word.
