Chapter 90 - Already Home (Chloe/Queen Bee)

Adrien came into my room when he was Chat Noir. I've learned from the last couple times he did that something really bad happened. It varied between being harrased and a break up.

It ended up being the latter. He had come in when I was in the middle of putting my pajamas on. At first I was going to freak out, but then I saw his face. It was soaked in tears and he fell onto my bed. "Adrien! Hey, what happend? Why are you upset?" I quickly went over and sat down next to him.

"L-Luka th-thinks I ch-chea-cheated on h-him!" He cried. Hang on, what?! Is he serious? No way.. there had to be a reasonable explination for this.

I gasped. "What?! But he knows you would never do that!" I pulled him into my lap. "B-but s-someone made him see a-an illusion!" He buried his face into my shoulder.

I rocked back and forth with him in my arms trying to calm him down. It was already working. "Do you think there was a second Akuma?" He looked up from my shoulder and sniffled.

"I had my suspicions... Hawk Moth must have Akumatized them separately to throw us off." Figures. That horrible man would do anything to make his son suffer. I scowled. "Evil menis." I spat.

"Adrien.. look at me." His eyes looked glossy from tears when he looked up. "Change back. I think you need a nice hot shower. Use mine. It's bigger." He sniffled and wiped his eyes. "Claws In.." He mumbled.

When I saw Plagg, Adrien seemed to become more discomforted. I suppose Plagg must have told Adrien he had a bad feeling about whatever happened before he went to see Luka

"Sorry Plagg... I should've listened to you." Adrien appologized. Plagg shook his head. "This wasn't your fault. Even I wasn't expecting him to break up with you." He said.

I had to think of something to cheer Adrien up. An idea came to me. "Go have a shower babe, I'll be out here when you're done." Adrien got himself off my bed. "Don't call me that when your boyfriend is around." I just giggled.

"I can call my adopted brother whatever I want, my boyfriend will just have to deal with me calling him something else." I grinned at him and he playfully shoved me.

Adrien headed for my bathroom. "If you say so. Love you sis," He called out as he entered the door. "Love you too bro!" I called back to him before the door closed. When I heard the running water, my bedroom door opened and Miles came in.

"The spa here is amazing! Maybe I should get the same builders to put one in my house." He noticed me after a few seconds. More like noticed what I was wearing. Miles turned around and covered his eyes for good mesure.

"Tell me when you're done." I will never find a guy more respectful that Miles. If I had a different boyfriend and he saw me like this, there's no way he would be turned around and covering his eyes at the same time.

I finished changing. "You can turn around now." Miles did turn around, but his eyes were still covered. He took his hands away from his face one at a time. As he got closer, Miles' head faced the washroom door.

"Is someone in your shower?" He asked when he faced me again. "It's Adrien. He had a real rough night." I explained. "Oh no.. can I ask what happened?" Miles knew I was Queen Bee, my friends had no idea that he knew. And of course Miles didn't know that all six of my friends were the heroes I fought with everyday.

"Let's just say he got his heart broken." I told him. Miles sat down next to me on my bed. "I know how that feels.. but you've really healed my heart. Thanks Chloe." I will never get used to his handsome face looking at me like that.

He placed his hand on my cheek and gently tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear. He was getting ready to kiss me when we both heard a loud crash, bang and thud from the bathroom.
