"so, what happened when you guys left?" i asked. "well we crashed at the studio for a bit while we made some stuff. and then started using strippers for groceries and a place to stay" he spoke.

i was slightly jealous at the mention of strippers, but i wasnt gonna let it show. "well you guys got some amazing music now" i shrugged with a smile. "yeah.." he trailed off.

"what you been up to?" he added. "kinda just been living in my bedroom or at work...nothing too special" i shrugged, fumbling with my fingers.

"seems a lot more stable then our life" he joked. "yeah...except i havent been treating my mom or ruby too great. i only saw how it affected rue just a week ago...i felt like shit" i sighed.

"you guys are better now?" he confirmed. "yeah...not so much my mom though. im working on it" i nodded. "you gotta see rue soon. she'll be so happy" i smiled.

"mhm for sure" he agreed. "are you gonna stay the night?" i asked, after peering at the clock. "if you want me to" he offered. "of course i want you to."

a small silence settled over us and i let out a breath i hadnt even realized i had been holding in. we were both laying down, so i turned on my side to face him. 

we made eye contact as i couldnt help but let a smile show. "its me...im the one making you smile, huh?" he asked, a slight smirk showing. "its always you" i whispered, leaning in.

i could feel his hot breath on my face just before our lips connected. they moved slowly but it felt more intimate than it ever had before.

our kiss deepened as both of us eventually discarded our clothes on the carpeted floor. i climbed on top and leaned down to kiss his neck as i slowly grinded.

the groans he let out turned me on even more, which forced me to use my magic even more. i sat up straight and held my hands on his chest as i continued grinding. 

"i'm gonna cum" he announced, barely even being able to speak. "cum in me" i seductively whispered as he let loose. i gave it a few more seconds before i climbed off and collapsed beside him.

"why didn't you get off before?" he asked, heavily breathing. "i'll take the risk" i shrugged, wiping a little bit of sweat starting to bead on my forehead.

"fuck that was good" he sighed, sinking into my bed even more. "mhm" i mumbled, feeling pretty sleepy. i wasn't the only one feeling like that.

i placed my head on his chest and pulled a blanket over both of our bare bodies. "i really like you saul" i confessed, not looking up. it felt kinda weird to use his real name.

"i like you too, laila" he mumbled. i smiled a little as i adjusted my position slightly to be more comfortable. my eyes shut and in no time i was asleep.

just as i stuffed my mouth full of chips the phone rang, making me roll my eyes. "hello?" i asked. "hey its mom, um would you mind picking up ruby from school? i'm gonna be stuck here for a while longer."

"yeah" i nodded. "thanks" she said, before hanging up. "who was that?" slash asked, staring at the tv intensely as he played mario. "my mom wants me to pick ruby up from school" i explained.
