"hey lai, what are you doing?" dani questioned, walking into the dressing room. "slash and i are trying to get our own place so im just seeing how much money i've got" i spoke.

"oh, need help?" she questioned, with a smile. "yeah sure" i nodded, allowing her to sit beside me. "what about slash's money?" dani asked as we started sorting.

"he spends all his money on new guitars or drugs...im the main source of income" i sighed. i loved that man more than life itself, but it kinda sucked dating a drug addict.

"awe im sorry" she sympathized. "it's alright" i confidently smiled. "i was confused when i didnt see you backstage watching the show" dani mentioned.

"yeah, i mean im at a lot of their shows, even if im not watching" i shrugged. "i get that...sometimes it's nice to just chill back here" she agreed.

a bit later, we finished counting. "is this enough?" i questioned. "lai that's more than enough, relax" she laughed. "yeah, im just kinda stressed" i shrugged, putting bands over the money.

"have you told anyone in your family you're moving?" she questioned. "nope...i'm scared to disappoint rue." "i mean you're just progressing in life...nothing wrong with that" dani smiled.

"yeah, except i dont wanna be working at a diner for the rest of my life" i laughed. "then go to college, or maybe start modelling...you're hot as fuck" she suggested.

"oh wait! or become a musician like slash" she quickly added. "unfortunately i dont have any musical talent" i giggled, shaking my head. "mkay, modelling it is then" she nodded.

i just rolled my eyes in response and cracked open a beer from the mini fridge. a bunch of voice got louder, and we already knew it was the guys.

"hey babe" i smiled as slash walked up to me to steal my beveridge. "thanks" i groaned, rolling my eyes to grab another beer. "where'd all this money come from?" axl asked.

"dont! that's laila's" dani yelled, putting her hands over the money so no one would touch it. "relax" axl laughed. i just sent dani a thanking smile to which she nodded in return.

"hey yall" a voice called out, stealing everyones attention. "hey juelz" dani nodded. i stood there awkwardly, as i hadnt really talken to juelz since last year when everything happened.

she quit working at the diner, but she was with axl so i didnt have a choice to see her. she just came around whenever. much to my dismay.

"hey slash" juelz smiled, walking right past him. my face shriveled up as she sent him a wink. flirt with your own goddamn boyfriend! not mine.

juelz stood in front of me and raised her eyebrows. "move" she instructed. "what?" i questioned. "you're in front of the fridge" she spoke, crossing her arms. "could at least ask nicely" i mumbled, walking away and to the couch.

"we're going out...you guys coming with?" duff asked. "i'm not going out with all this money on me...i'll meet you guys there" i promised. "we'll be at the rainbow" izzy added.

i stood up and stuffed the bands into my bag before zipping it up. i quickly walked up to slash and gave him a quick kiss before leaving everyone behind.

i had gotten a car so it was much easier to get places. when i got home, mom, dad, and rue were in the living room watching a movie.
