Forks, Washington was not an ideal vacation spot. It was rain and gloomy almost all the time, and there was barely anything to do. Most people would've found it boring. Most people would've just driven right through without a second look.
That's exactly why it was perfect for Aurora Woods. She needed the boring and time for her alone. She needed quiet.
In the woods of Forks, she could easily train and use her powers unbothered that anybody would see her. Sometimes she would smell hints of werewolves left by the trees. Aurora knew werewolves were in Forks.
What she didn't knew, was that there were vampires too.
