Noah was not irritated.

He invited Julia and her group into his house. There they met his wife. Petsy, who had originally worked as a teacher, but was now Alpha alongside Noah. Just like Finn, her wolf ears were white. She had green eyes and dark blonde, shoulder-length hair.

At first, the two were skeptical about Julia and Peter, but that quickly subsided. However, they kept a polite distance from the dragons.

It didn't take long for Marko's other brothers to come to the house to greet him. Levi had fetched them all. The six brothers, including Marko, all looked very similar. Balder was the smallest in terms of size. Valdemar had the darkest skin and Arthur's curly hair was dark blond rather than brown, slightly orange. Julia quickly realized that the brothers were very noisy together. They laughed between all the hugs and teased Marko, who stuck out his tongue at them in tears.

Arthur, Valdemar, and Aaren also brought their girlfriends with them. The big house seemed a bit crowded. In all the hustle and bustle, Finn missed his parents. And it was also clear to see that Marko missed his parents all the more. Julia took them in her arms, but that was little consolation for the two wolves.

Peter and Ari got along well with Noah and Petsy. Julia was happy for her brother. He hadn't had any friends of his own for a long time.

Towards evening, the entire pack celebrated the return of Marko and Finn. Julia and the rest of her family were also welcomed. No one cared that Marko and Finn were tied to Julia. Or who her mother was. The pack welcomed them as if they had always belonged to them. Julia danced first with Leopold next to a small campfire and then with Mads, who tried to convince her that he was an awesome dancer while stepping on her feet.

But in addition to all the joy around her, Julia was nervous.

She had not yet had the opportunity to tell about her plans. This pack was plagued by problems of its own. They seemed to wait for a fight with another pack. Could she convince these wolves to join her? Could she help them?

And how long would it take to find the rebels?

What would happen if she searched for too long?

"Can you show me a magic trick?" Mads asked, crossing his arms curiously. "Finn said you've mastered all kinds of magic!"

"What would you like to see?" Julia asked, grimacing. They now stood together surrounded by dancing wolves. Leopold danced with a four-year-old girl who laughed happily.

"Something pretty. Something that glitters!" Mad's eyes lit up with enthusiasm.

"Glitter? Well..." Laughing, Julia called some of the blazing fire to her to let iridescent, flaming birds fly over the celebrating wolves.

"Beautiful!" Mads didn't notice that he was leaning against Julia out of joy. It didn't bother her.

For the rest of the celebration, she was repeatedly asked to show a trick. Especially from the children she let float. The little wolves laughed enthusiastically.

"Finally we met a nice witch!", shouted one of the children. A little boy with gray wolf ears. "No wicked witch! They do exist! I knew it!"

"Yeah, yeah!", snorted one of the other children.
